【Nagito's Pov】
I laid in my bed, staring up at my ceiling. After Hajime and I had exchanged confessions, we parted ways to go to bed. I smiled, maybe my life was turning around. Or rather, the bit of life I had left. But now wasn't the time to focus on that. Hajime accepted my feelings! Is there anything more exceptional than that? Hajime was the only thing on my mind at the moment. Are we official? I think so... What would the others think of us...? Oh, who really cares? This was the one time I didn't have meticulousness over the Ultimates' opinion. For all I concerned, I had the supreme opinion of an Ultimate.
I sighed merrily and turned over to go to sleep.

I stood by the railing, the morning sun threatening to blind me, it was particularly bright today. I could feel my thick hair blow behind me.
I felt a sudden tap on my shoulder, looking behind me to find the handsome face of my newfound lover.
"Hey, Nagito." He brunette smiled at me sweetly as he walked over to the rail beside me.
"Hello, Hajime." I turned my head over to look at him while he gazed out to the waves.
"We should head over to the dining room soon." He looked back over to me as I nodded in agreement. After sharing a quick chat we decided to walk over to the dining room, talking while we made our way.
"So when I had talked to them, they said that they were in love with him." Hajime walked close by me as he spoke.
"I mean no offense to Kaz, he's my best friend, but...him?" He shook his head a bit in disfavor.
"Wasn't that what they had said to you about me?" I stared at him critically.
"I- Well...t-that wasn't my point! Move on!" He stopped walking before frowning and waving his hand in front of him, in an almost protective stance. I chuckled at his response as we kept walking. He continued talking to me about Sonia and Gundham's apparent new found adoration for Kazuichi. I have to admit, they have seemed to be quite nicer to him.
I walked alongside Hajime, he had a lot to say about everyone it seemed. I mean, he has collected everyone's 'hope shards' in the program. I rarely got anyone's, they all avoided me. I faltered for a moment before looking back up to Hajime who seemed to be excitedly talking about an online kusamochi shop he found. I looked down at his hand that was resting beside him. I slyly slid my hand gently into his, squeezing it a bit. He stopped talking for a moment after realizing a faint blush appearing on his toned skin, before he smiled lightly and started talking again. Eventually we arrived to the dining hall, hand in hand. We seemed to be the last ones there, probably from conversation. Fuyuhiko had glanced at us, nodding his head in approval a bit before turning back to Peko whom he was talking with.
My and Hajime sat down at one of the tables, continuing early conversation.
"Yeah, so my back kinda hurt after Akane had thrown me, but it's okay. It was a good game of volleyball." Hajime smiled uneasily.
I grinned. Today seemed to be surprisingly good. It...almost had me worried.
