Jungkook drove as fast as he could. He was sweating and his wide eyes keep checking the time as he drove to the hospital.

Irene had informed him that she took Lisa to the emergency room.

The doctor let out a curse in frustration when got into red light.

What if something bad happens to the girl and the twins, they are under his responsibility now.

No no he couldn't just let that happen.

"Come on" he mumbled before starting the vehicle seconds before it was the green light again. He was in hurry what can he do?

The distance to the hospital seemed longer than usual to Jungkook.

And suddenly it started raining making it more difficult for him to drive. But without caring about the slippery road he sped up the car.

Reaching the hospital was his main goal at that point.

In the night time the hospital somehow remains calm which was giving Jungkook a relaxation.

He reached the door where Irene admitted Lisa in and there he saw. The girl was laying unconscious with that almost big baby bump in her stomach.

The doctor gulped before walking towards them. Irene gave him his gloves and lab coat quickly.

The only sound could be heard was the monitor running in the background. Jungkook steadied his breath before taking his tools.

"We need to perform some tests" he muttered getting a instant nod from the junior doctor.

"Sir-"

"Stay quiet"

Jungkook knew, he already knew that Lisa's mental state is not well. The girl is literally in depression. So it's not a surprise for him when he heard she almost took her life if it wasn't for Irene.

Thank god the girl chose this day to visit Lisa's house only to find her laying on the floor with wrist wide open, blood oozing out of there.

She did the quick treatment what she could do before bringing her here the rest will be fone by Jungkook.

She didn't wanted to disturb Jungkook but at that moment only few doctors had night shift and all of them are occupied with their own work.

Of course she could wait for them to finish their work and then check on Lisa.

But what if something worse happens? What if one of them lose their life. She couldn't just afford it.

So in her panick state of mind she did the first thing that came in her mind. Calling Jungkook for help.

Only he wouldn't delay and come running here to save them.

"These things will a-ffect the babies" The doctor tried his best to not stutter. But Irene could feel his voice shaking. She already had tears in her eyes seeing how Jungkook is already attached to the babies. He would often talk to them while looking at her belly.
