Chapter 17 : "You're gonna get us in trouble, woman."

I quickly got off from my whatever I was wearing to a plain V-neck black t shirt and some worn out skinny jeans. Assuming its a bit chilly outside I put on my red jacket and converse and got out of my room. I walked down the stairs without making much noise, not wanting any of my parents to wake up and see me dressed up like this at midnight. And what if I actually get caught? What am I supposed to answer to them?

Oh, nothing mom, just heading out with Niall for some late night dinner nothing much.

Yeah right, good idea, Skylar.

I slowly shut the front door off and jogged off to where Niall's car was parked. He was still leaning against his car but he had put on the black jacket, looking the bad boy he is. I walked up to him taking his appearance, his clear blue eyes sparkling in the dim light coming from the street light. Hair not in his usual signature quiff, rather messy scattered in every possible direction. He somewhat smelt of cinnamon and strong cologne and cigarettes. I did not realize I had been staring at him until his little smirk was prominent at me. So I spoke immediately,

"Uh... So-"

"Let's get going." He cut me off and opened the passenger's door for me and I stepped in.

As we were driving he was tapping his fingers slowly to the beat of the song blasting lowly on the radio.

"Why are we going to school though?"

"To do something."

"What something? And how are we going to enter the school, all the gates must be locked." I asked confused.

"I've my own way, darling." He winked at me completely ignoring my first question.

"Hold on.. Wouldn't that count as vandalism?"

"Probably." He chuckled.

"I'm not involving in any of this!"

"Too late, you're already involved."
