Kie's POV:
The pogues and I were hanging out by the chateau, me and JJ were chilling outside on the hammock and everyone else was sitting by us. JJ gave me a kiss on the cheek and started to rub my back. I hadn't been feeling great all day but pushed through it. 

I noticed Sarah wasn't acting like her normal self and I was starting to get concerned.

"hey Sarah you alright?" I asked, she hadn't really said much the whole time she was here.

"Yeah I'm good, I started my period this morning so I don't feel great" she replied

"oh I'm sorry that sucks" I said

Shit, I thought. That meant that I was going to start my period any second now.

Because Sarah and I spend so much time together our periods are always synced up. One of us starts and then the other gets theirs within a few hours. It had been like this for a while now. This makes it pretty hard for the boys because they have to deal with both of us being bitches for a week.

I start to stand up to go check if I had started yet when I see a dark red stain on the hammock. Fuck. I grab Sarah by the arm and walk into the house.

"Hey where are you guys going" John B asks

I ignore him and take Sarah inside. I turn around to show her my shorts.

"How bad is it?" I ask her with defeat in my voice

"It's pretty bad" she says while starting to laugh

"Shut up it's not funny" I say as I lightly hit her back.
"I bled on the hammock too"

"It's fine that hammock has been through a lot" she says with a smirk on her face

She hands me a tampon and I walk into the bathroom.

JJ's POV:
"What was that about?" I asked the boys

"Idk man" John B reply's

I look down at the hammock and notice a spot of blood on it. That makes sense. I point out the blood to John B.

"It's the start of our favorite week" I say sarcastically

"Yep, I'm pretty sure Sarah is on hers too, she has been acting weird all day" he says

"Good luck guys" Pope says to us

Kie's POV:

I get out of the bathroom and change into some of Sarah's short cause mine are covered in blood. I grab my dirty shorts and head outside with Sarah.

I'm kind of embarrassed because the boys probably noticed the blood but it's nothing that hasn't happened before. I have always been open with the boys about things like this. It's normal and I don't think it's weird to talk to them about it. Until Sarah started hanging out with us they were the only people I could talk to about this kind of stuff.

"Hey, everything good?" John B asks

"Yeah I just had a bit of a period emergency" I say
"Also sorry about the hammock John B"

"It's totally fine" he says

"I think I'm gonna go home cause I look and feel like shit" I announce

Jj comes up behind my and puts his hands around my waist. I lean back and rest my head on his chest. I immediately feel better, something about him always makes me feel better.

"Can u come with me jj" I ask

"Yea ofc, but I don't think your parents will like that" he says

"They will be fine" I ask and take his hand

"Good luck man" John B says while pulling jj away from me

"You too" he replies

As soon as jj starts driving the cramps kick in. Fuck. I hate being a woman. I have had horrible periods forever but it doesn't make it any easier. I lean my chair back and put my hands right below my belly button.

"You doing ok" jj asks sounding concerned

"No, these cramps are kicking my ass" I say annoyed

"I'm sorry baby" he says while putting his hand on my stomach, keeping the other on the wheel.

We pull into the into the driveway and I get out of the car. I feel a warm gush when I stand which means I'm about to bleed through my tampon. JJ follows me up the stairs and I open the door.

My parents aren't very supportive of me and JJ's relationship. They don't usually react well to us being together and especially not us being alone together. We walk in and quickly goes upstairs, thankfully my parents aren't in the house.

We walk into my room and I close the door behind me. I go into the bathroom to find blood on the blue underwear that Sarah gave me. I change my tampon and walk out in just my tank top.

"Hey there" jj says with a smile growing on his face

"Nothing you haven't seen before" I say while walking over to my drawer.

I put on new black underwear and grey shorts. I go and lay on top of jj. He had taken off his shirt while I was in the bathroom. He warm chest in up against my cheek. He strokes through my hair and twirls in between his fingers.

Then of course the cramps start to get bad again, and I get a stabbing pain in my back. I wince in pain.

JJ notices and asks if I'm ok.

"I'm having really bad cramps, can you go get my heating pad? It's down in the kitchen" I ask

"Yeah no problem" he says and gives me a kiss on my forehead

JJ's POV:

I get up out of Kie's bed and head downstairs to go get her heating pad and some Advil. She usually is really tough about this stuff so I know she is in a lot of pain. I feel bad because I know there isn't much I can do to make her feel better.

I make it down the stairs and immediately see Anna - Kiara's mom.

"What are you doing here JJ?" she asks sounding confused

"I'm sorry, Kie isn't feeling well and she wanted me to come over" I reply. I know she isn't happy that we are alone together in her room.

"Is she ok" she asks

"Yeah, she is just on her period and isn't feeling great. I promise nothing sexual is going on" I
say trying to calm her down

"Ok but I need you guys to keep the door open"

"Of course! Do you know where her heating pad is?"

"It's in the drawer right next to the pantry"

"Thank you!" I say trying to be as nice as possible

I grab the heating pad and take an Advil bottle from the counter. I walk back into Kie's room and see a tear fall down her face.

"Baby what's wrong?" I ask while sitting down on the bed

"These cramps are just so bad and I feel bad that you have to see me like this" she says quietly

"I'm sorry and you have nothing to worry about, I will always be here to take care of you" I say while rubbing her back

I help her sit up and hand her two Advils. While she takes them I plug in her heating pad and place it on her stomach. I lay down spooning her and running my fingers through her hair.

"Does that feel better" I ask her

"Yea a little"

"It should feel a lot better when the Advil kicks in"
I say trying to comfort her

"Im so sorry that you have to deal with this"
I tell her

"It sucks, but you make it better" she says while turning around to kiss me

I kiss her back and place my hand on her cheek.

"I love you" she says while staring into my eyes

"I love you more"
