cuddle?

Summary: Louis is at work, You've had a bad day and just want to cuddle.

Today has been horrible. I made plans with my friend Katie, so I had gotten ready making myself look nice. I curled my hair and did my makeup, wore my favourite shirt and jeans, then I got the message. I received it just as I opened the door to leave, 'sorry can't make it. next time.'

It's always the same outcome. make the plans, spend 2 hours getting ready, open the door, they cancel the plans. I can't do this anymore. 

It's 4pm meaning Louis won't be home for another 3 hours, I need him but I know he's busy. I put on my comfort film-The lion king, don't judge- and wrapped myself in a blanket with a pack of cookies. Hopefully time will hurry. 

I scrolled through instagram for a bit after the movie finished. As I was going through people's stories I saw a picture of Katie and Sarah at a cafe together from today. It really hurt to see them leave me out. I won't lie and say I didn't cry because I did, I cried like a baby.

At half 6 I get a message from Louis. 

Louu 💙: You alright, love? Finishing up, be home in 30 mins xx

me: Not been too good today but all good. Miss you xx

I didn't want him to worry.

Louu💙: What happened? xx

me: she cancelled again just as I was about to leave the house. 

Louu💙: I'm sorry, love. I'll take you out tomorrow and you can have anything you want, yeah?

me: we can go out but I don't just want your money, babe.

Louu💙: I know you don't but I want to spoil you. I'm leaving the studio now. I'll be home in 15 xx

I smile, happy Louis will be home soon.

------15 minutes later--------

I hear the door open and immediately get off the couch. I run over to Louis and wrap my arms around him.

"hi, babe" Louis said gently whilst hugging me back. 

"hi" I mumbled. 

We stood by the front door for a few minutes, Louis rested his chin on my head and just held me close to him. 

"I need to shower quick, love. Go pick a movie and after I'm done we will order food, okay?" He said quietly. 

I nodded and he kissed my forehead before leaving for his shower. I sat back on the couch and scrolled through movies but not finding anything that interested me.

Louis was soon done with his shower and walked into the living room in grey sweatpants and a white t-shirt. He came and sat next to me so I immediately sat sideways on his lap, snuggling into his neck. He wrapped his arms and the blanket around me. We sat in silence for a few minutes, just enjoying being together. My head was laying on his shoulder and his was on mine, his hands were wrapped gently around my waist. He would kiss my shoulder every now and then just letting me know he was there for me and would take care of me whenever I needed him.

"It will be okay, babe. Maybe she had something urgent come up?" He muttered into my hair. 

I shook my head, "she posted a picture with Sarah on her instagram story of them at a cafe," I told him.

"she isn't a true friend if she's doing that to you. Don't worry though, love, you have me, yeah?" He said with a calm voice. 

I nodded and snuggled further into him. We ordered some pizza and spent the evening and night just cuddling together. Louis has always been there for me and I am forever thankful for him.
