Chapter 12: The Sleepover

Me Julie and Flynn got comfortable in Julie's room but when our movie ended I had to get up and go into the studio. Julie said that we might be able to make some room somewhere. But I declined the offer it might be nice kind of like having a sleepover with the boys.

"Hello, boys are you guys up?" I ask in a whisper careful not to wake them if they are. "Nope we were waiting for you" Reggie says. "Awww you guys didn't have to" I say a little struck by their kindness. "Oh don't worry we weren't even tired" Alex says while yawning. "Mhm not tired. Bed now" I say in a demanding voice. "Okay mom" Reggie says in a sarcastic voice. "Hey where's Luke?" I ask. "Oh he went out should be back after you go to bed" Alex answers. "Take the couch we normally sleep either on the floor or in the loft Luke usually takes the couch but he said you could take it." Reggie said once he finished saying that a wide grin spread across his cave I had no clue why though.

"Oh okay I'm gonna stay up reading my book" I say motioning to the book I had in my hands. "No problem there is a lamp next to the couch yoy can use for light" Reggie says pointing. "Great goodnight boys" I say blowing them kisses. Reggie tries hugging me, but goes right through me. "Dang it it's still only Luke" he says sounding depressed. "I'm sorry" I say. "It's not your fault" Reggie says. As he and Alex get situated i turn off the light and turn on the lamp.

I must have read for hours because when I looked at the time I was a little shocked that Luke wasn't back yet. It was 12 he should be back by now. As I was thinking this he poofs in a little surprised I drop my book. Luke looks over at me shocked to see me still awake. When he realized what happened he ran over to pick my book up pausing to stare at the cover.

"The Illiad?" He said out loud a puzzled look on his face. "Yes it is about Greek mythology and I am quite intrigued by it" I say confidently. "Nice we should read it sometime" he says. "Oh uhm well sure" I answer a little disheveled.

"Hey what were you doing out so late?" I ask him. His expression turns grim and he looks away. "Nothing. . . " he says after a bit. "Okay?" I say basically questioning him. After a little while he asks "Hey could you tell me more about this book?" This took me off guard but I scooted over so he could sit next to me on the couch. When he did I placed the blanket around me and him. And started telling him the stories of the Greek heroes of past times.

I was losing track of time and started to feel really sleepy. I was in the middle of explaining how Eros would always cause mischief in everyone's love affairs. When my eyes started to shut. Luke noticed. "Hey it pretty late maybe you should go to bed you're the one that needs it" he says. "No. . . I was. . . -" in the middle of my sentence I yawn and can't help but fall asleep right there.

I heard Luke laugh and pick up the Illiad. He starts flipping through the book. I open my eyes and notice him staring at me AGAIN. He quickly gets back to what he was doing and I shut my eyes again.

Julie's POV:

Me and Flynn both walked into the studio to wake up Y/n because we were going to go eat breakfast, then figure everything out from there. As I opened the door I stopped in my tracks. My face softened and I let out an "Awww" Flynn looked at me weirdly. "What?" She asked. "Come outside" I say gesturing towards the door. We both walk out and I start talking.

"Y/n had her head on Luke's shoulder. And Luke had his head on hers!!!!" I said practically squealing. "Oh. . . My why is this something to be squealing about I thought she liked Jaden. "Well she does ish" I say. "Are we going to go wake her up or not? Flynn asks.

"Lets wake up Alex and Reggie first." I answered. "Okay fine but I can't even see them" she said sounding angry. We wnt in and I snuck over to the boys. And said "Boo" right next to their ears. They both jumped and saw me. "What. . . Is so important that you woke us up" Alex said through a grumble. "Look on the couch why don't ya" I said with a smile on my face.

They both turned to look when they saw the sight their jaws dropped. "OH MY GOD YES!!!" Reggie said. His voice excruciatingly loud. "Reggie shut up" I whisper shouted. "I'm going to go wake up Y/n" I day walking away.

Y/n's POV:

It felt like I had been asleep for a second when I felt someone jabbing their finger into my shoulder. I woke up with a start but when I did I felt someone head on mine. Then I realized how I had slept all night. MY HEAD WAS ON LUKE'S SHOULDER. My heart was racing, soaring, flying. I could barely catch my breath.

I looked up to see who had woken me. It was Julie smiling broadly. I smile at her and worm my way out from under Luke's head with out waking him. I looked over at the piano and realized Julie wasn't the only one to have seen. Alex, Reggie, and Flynn were standing near the piano. Even though Flynn and no clue they were there.

"Goodmorning" I say trying to sound casual. "Goodmorning" everyone else said in unison with glee in the mix of the sound. "Well come on breakfast let's go I'm starving" Flynn said trying to make small talk. Me, Julie and Flynn all walked out of the studio into the kitchen where Julie's dad had made pancakes and eggs.
