Chapter 5

MILLIES POV

we left my house after packing and headed of to Bruce's. We talked and talked about everything. We didn't have to start small talk, we just knew what to say and when to say it. I felt so comfortable and safe around him, he was just nice to be around.

We got to Bruce's and knocked on the door.
"Oh hey guys, come in!" We came in and say on the couch beside each other. We all just talked about what we were going to do on the sleepover. We decided on watching a movie and play truth or dare.

We picked the movie "Grease" because Gwen and Donna said we HAD to watch it. "You guys haven't seen grease?" Said Donna, "nope. You guys are watching grease right now. I don't care, you guys have to see it" Gwen followed quickly after.

We finally agreed and started watching the movie. It was kind of boring at the beginning abut soon became interesting, I could tell Robin felt the same way as his face soon became attached to the tv.

We finished the movie and we're shocked on how good it was. "Sooo what did you guys think?" Gwen said. We all agreed it was super good.

We played truth or dare for a while but nothing crazy happened.

Time skip a couple weeks cuz I can't be bothered

After that sleepover, I have gotten so close with the group. Gwen, donna and Finney are my closest friends, and well Robin.. we have gotten so close. We have sleepovers all the time, it's like we've known each other for years. But I have formed feelings for him, it scares me. I know he doesn't like me back but I want to be more than friends so bad.

ROBINS POV
me and Millie have gotten so close, I want to be more than that, but she doesn't feel the same. It's okay though, at least I'm still her best friend. Right?..

It was a Saturday and I wanted to go to the grab n go, with Millie of course. I can't go anywhere without her, it's like I have to be with her all the time or it just doesn't feel right.

There has been this weird black van following me around everywhere, I try and get my mind off of it but it's just weird and it freaks me out. It's probably nothing, it's a small town, I'm probably going to see a car more than once.

I called Millie and she answered of course.
"Hey Robin"
"Hey mills, wanna go to the grab n go?"
"Of course. Meet outside of our houses?"
"Oh yeah, I don't know why I didn't just knock on your door and ask"
We both chuckled.

I went outside only to be met with Millie.
We walked to the Grab N Go and talked for what felt like hours. She just understood every little thing I had to say. I felt safe with her.

We made it to the grab N go and bought some things, then left to the close by playground and sat on the bench. It was golden hour and it was beautiful. We sat there talking and eating our snacks.

"Robin"
"Mm?"
"I like you"
" I like you to mills" I smiled.
"No, no Robin. I like you. Like more than a friend I mean."

MILLIES POV

"No, no Robin. I like you. like more than a friend I mean."
Holy shit, did I just say that?? Im dreaming. No way. I wish I could reverse time. He doesn't like me back and I just screwed everything up. "Robin that was stupid of me to sa-" he kissed me. Robin Arellano just kissed me and still is. I let my thoughts go and let me live this moment.

After the kiss we made eye contact. "I like you too Millie"
He smiled. We held hands and just looked at the sun set. We didn't have to say anything, it wasn't awkward. We could sit forever and not say anything, we could just let go when we were together.

I just admired him, the way his hair just perfectly touched his shoulders, his side profile, he was beautiful and majestic. My Robin.

"Hey we should probably head home?"  He spoke after a while.
"Oh yeah"

We started walking back, it was now dark out but our parents knew we might be out late. We were just talking, until I asked "Robin, what are we?" 
"Well I guess we're like dating now"
I smiled, which he soon returned.

We still had a long time till we were home, I noticed a black van behind us. I noticed it before but I didn't realize it had been following us the whole time. I was scared and grabbed Robins arm with a strong grip.

He looked at me. "You okay?"
"There's a black van that has been following us this whole time."
He looked worried and scared, "it's okay, I will protect us don't worry."
Just then the van stopped in front of us, and a man came out. Falling on literally nothing and dropping his groceries.

A/N cliffhanger but we finally got them together🤭
