Chapter 1 christmas tree hunt

Caroline inspected each one carefully but none of them were good enough.
Maybe she was a slight perfectionist but it was Christmas! She wanted the best Christmas tree,
One which wasn't too small or to tall,one that said its Christmas! but doesn't look cheap.

Now she was frustrated if she could build her own Christmas tree she would.
"I think there is smoke coming out of your ears darling "said a familiar voice coming from behind her.
When she shot round to see who it was she sighed "funny,maybe you should start a comedy club somewhere far far away."it was kol she didn't know much about kol but apparently he's the annoying one - well that's what Rebekah told her (A/N Rebekah and Caroline are friends in this )

And with that she started to inspect the trees again,"always so feisty care aren't we"she rolled her eyes then looked at him straight "your just bored, just go and bother your brother or something" she spat back.
"I would but it's much more fun to tease you care-bear" he said with his signature smirk.

"Just go away...please"she said with a little smile but she knew she had no hope.
"So what are we looking for darling" he said completely ignoring what she just said.
"We are not looking for anything, you are going to stop calling me stupid pet names and leave me alone " she stated.
He stares for a moment and let's out a chuckle. "what's funny?" She asked while crossing her arms over her chest with a curious tone. "nothing "he answered with a smirk."your just so adorable when you are mad".

" goodbye " she said while turning on her heel to get away from him."I'm sorry I'm sorry" he said while grabbing her wrist "what can I do to make it up to you " he asked.
Caroline thought for a moment ignoring the tingling feeling she got when he touched her.
"Well I do need a Christmas tree" she said.

They walked around for 1 hour but they couldn't find the right one.
Then kol's eyes lit up "that one " he said .when Caroline turned around she knew it was perfect but she didn't show it because kol chose it."i don't know" she said "its a bit erm ..." Perfect"kol butted in.
