Chapter Sixteen

【Ｎａｇｉｔｏ＇ｓ　Ｐｏｖ】

We had finally arrived on Jabberwock Island. We were now being guided to Monokuma Rock, but we already knew the way. When we all got there, there was the trio of members that originally made contact with us along with...Mikan..? She stood timidly, fear obvious in her eyes. Like she used to be. How peculiar.

"We gathered you all here for the announcement before we let you go off to the rest of the island, so you know what's to be expected of you all." The tall blonde pushed his glasses up after speaking, looking over to the girl with gloves.

"Yes, well this is going to run much in the same way the Neo World Program did. We'll let you all run free as long as violence is kept to an extreme minimum. Your cottages are in the exact same place and order as they were. You'll be kept restrained here until we know for absolute fact you aren't dangers to society. That will be very difficult for you to achieve. So I will let you all know now, you're most likely going to be confined here for the rest of your lives. So this violence rule is important. And, as you can see here, Mikan Tsumiki is joining you all back. She's been imprisoned and tested long enough for us to believe she is allowed to be part of the group. Hate crimes against her will only lead to you being arrested as she was. So I recommend you don't. I think that's all now." Kyoko stepped off the podium/stage while Mikan shyly walked toward us.

"H-Hello everyone..." She was already on the verge of tears from everyone's gazes falling upon her as she shook fearfully and looked around at everyone. Whispers began through the crowd and I felt Hajime move a bit closer to me.

"Hajime? Are you alright?" I turned to my brunette boyfriend as he looked down nervously.

"I don't exactly want to be around her." He stared off into the tree surrounding the park. I nodded as I slipped my hand into his and walked on the path to the first island. (I don't remember where Monokuma Rock is so if it's on island 1 my bad.)

After walking for a while, we arrived at Hotel Mirai before stopping for a moment.

"Want to go to my cottage?" I looked at him.

"Sure, why not." Hajime shrugged as we started walking to my cottage. I opened my, apparently unlocked, door.

"Huh, really was the way I left it back in the program." I looked around, deja vu packing my brain.

"Look over there." Hajime pointed at my desk which had a ring of keys on it.

"Ah, that's how we lock it." I walked over and picked them up before putting them inside my pocket.

"Feel free to sit down." I smiled at the other boy before sitting down on my bed where he sat next to me.

"Honestly, I'm a bit exhausted right now." Hajime tiredly rubbed his eyes.

"Take a nap if you want to. I don't mind." I looked over at him as he rested his head on my shoulder.

"You should take a nap with me, I have a feeling you don't get as much sleep as you should." I looked up toward me with a slightly pouty face.

I sighed before taking my jacket off and laying it neatly on my nightstand.

"Well, you're not wrong, I will. Even though it's...what? 1:00?" I looked over at my clock as I took my shoes and belt chain off. I locked my door and walked over to my bed where Hajime had already taken his tie and shoes off as well.

"Are you going to keep your jeans on?" I asked the ultimate before he shook his head.

"We're only taking a nap, and I don't really want to." He fell down onto my bed as I shrugged and joined him, cuddling up beside him.

"Well, night Hajime." I smiled as he returned the gesture.

"Goodnight, Nagito."
