(This is for a friend of mine just so you know, also light doesn't kill zombies in this but sunlight and water still does.)

𝑹𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒌 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒌𝒆𝒔 12:00!

11:50 𝑷𝑴
The audience sat there patiently...

11:55 PM
I could feel their impatience, toddlers and young children squirming in their chairs...

11:56 PM...

11:57 PM...

11:58 PM...

11:59 PM...
The audience got extremeley impatient...Children and adults alike squirmed in their seats...

Finally...

12:00
THE CLOCK STRIKES!

The dark velvet curtains arose!
The crowd filled the theatre with cheer!
There I stood...
In the spotlight, all eyes on me...

Music filled the once silent room,
and there I danced...
I sang
I danced
I sang
I danced
I sang...

The audience stared in awe, at my moves ever so graceful...
Their ears felt ever so delighted, as my sweet, high, voice filled them...

Even as I wore a cheerful smile upon my face...
It was all a lie...
I despised this more than ever...
I despise these perverse vermin that call themselves my fans...
All I want is to quit...
But yet I cannot...
I have a reputation to uphold...

The only thing I want is to leave the stage...
Leave this filthy maggot-ridden body...
Leave these filthy old dead men who want nothing more than to touch me...

I hate it!
But, I was a child-star in my mortal life...
So I have to endure this pain as a citizen among the dead...

But I worry not...
I will escape this body...
I will feel nothing but bliss as I bath in honeyed rays of gold...
As I play among other children in a beautiful field of bright green...

And that is a promise!
