I woke up to my phone alarm going off, I turned it off but was forced out of bed by my cat, Honey, meowing at me to feed her. I checked the time and saw it was time to take Lucy out to use the bathroom. I feed Honey first before grabbing my coat and taking Lucy out.
It was pouring rain outside and I needed her to hurry up. "Come on girl, I don't need to get soaked" I sighed, hoping she hurries up. After another minute she finally finished. The both of us sprinted back inside the apartment. I fed Lucy and went to go hop in the shower to get ready for work.
I put my hair up in a low ponytail, wore a black button up shirt, black skinny jeans, paired with black boots. I went to say goodbye to Honey, who is staring outside on her perch, and Lucy, who is laying on her bed gnawing on a bone. It was about a 20 minute drive to Quantico.
I walked into the bullpen and greeted everyone. "Good morning Derek," I smiled "Morning Sugar, what's got you all peppy today?" He questioned. I rolled my eyes at his question. "You know Derek, it's proven that-" Spencer started but was cut off by Derek "I'm going to stop you right there pretty boy," he laughed. "No Spence, we don't know, and we don't wanna know." I shrugged.
He went back to his paperwork, causing me and Derek to chuckled. "We're joking Reid, tell us the fact." Derek said, giving in. "Rain is proven to-" he was again cut off by Kate. "I know you missed me but I'm here!" She announced getting laughs heard from all across the bullpen.
"Hey K, how was your weekend" I asked, trying to get away from the boys. "Well Meg was at a sleepover so I had 2 days to myself," she answered. "Can't believe that girl is almost 16!" I laughed. "I know!" She sighed. I was going to ask Derek to get me some coffee but he was busy arguing with Spencer. I internally rolled my eyes.
"I have a peace offering." I heard JJ say from behind me. I turned around and saw JJ with coffee and donuts. "You are a lifesaver!" I cheered, grabbing the coffee she handed me. I took a sip and was hit with the pleasurable taste of a caramel macchiato. We decided to get to work before we angered boss man.
