Today I have awakened a year older and am blessed to be 13 now, Finally a teenager. Before I even could get out of bed my parents enter the room with breakfast and begin singing "The Birthday Song."
After eating I went to my closet and got out my most expensive clothes and shoes. They were all brand new and picked for my special day.
My best friend Danielle came to take me to the mall, thankfully it was the weekend and I knew my crush would be there too. What an amazing way to start my big day.
After visiting almost every store, we headed to the food court for lunch. As I stood in line at my favorite restaurant someone comes up behind me and covered my eyes shortly before I pulled away. Soon as I turned around I realized It was him, the boy I had been checking out all year.
I was flattered when he insisted on paying for my food and sat down to eat with me! I can't believe on my birthday I got the attention of Mark Smithfield.
This was the best birthday ever.
Once we were finished eating he offered to take me to see a movie that ran for 2 hours. I barely was paying attention to the film because I was to busy staring at his handsome face! When the movie ended, Danielle grabbed me by the hand and pulled me to the bathroom.
She decided that we would get our nails done before heading home. This particular salon was more expensive than where I usually go. It was a treat to experience a more upscale experience.
On the ride to my house I became a little bit emotional because the perfect birthday was coming to an end. Danielle assured me the night was still young while redirecting the driver to head towards the arcade. We had the most amazing time and played every single game before finally walking to my residence!
As I opened the door and turned on the lights, a large group of people yell out "Suprise!" It was shocking to see that almost everyone I knew was standing in my living room wishing me a happy birthday. There were cupcakes that spelled out my name and other snacks in the shape of the number 13. What an amazing way to end my big day.
