Twisted One

I was lying on the bed, reading a novel when I heard a vibration. It was my phone in corner of my bed I was too lazy to see what it was, but I eventually did, it was Issa, I don't know why she was texting me, when I replied to the text she said

ISSA: Hey! Do you know where I am

Me: No, where are you.

ISSA: Look out of your window

(I rushed to the window, she was outside on the street waving at me)

Me: What are you doing here?!

ISSA:I was bored at home. So I wanted to go for a walk

ME: Then go for a walk, why are you here !

ISSA: I wanted to take you with me come on let's go please. We'll have some ice cream and we'll go to the park

ME: I also wanted to go out but was too lazy.

ME:Ok wait I'll be there in a sec.

She was waiting for me at the corner of the alley. When I met her she dragged me to get ice cream, we got a chocolate icecream, went to the park and we sat under the tree shade.

We completed our ice cream, we were lying on the grass looking at the sky, then I don't know why but I said "Isn't time just so fast, When we're like in the moment it feels like its not gonna end, but Sooner or later we find it as a memory with someone we loved to be with."

She said "It is fast. But how do you come up with these things all the time, they are so heart touching".

Then we hear someone say "Hey". We both get up. It's Sam he is our classmate and our best friend. We said "Hi" Then he said. "What are you doing here". "We were bored at home so we came here". "Same" he said. "Are you excited school is gonna start in a few days". "Yeah".

Then he said "There is a new boy coming to our school he's a transfer student he is kind of a top scorer, I think there is a competition for you Mimi. "He is my bestfriend since childhood"

Then Issa asks Sam "Are you still in touch with him". "Yeah, how could I leave my bestfriend. I heard that they are moving their old house here". "You mean the one beside Mimi's house?". "Yeah"."

"What's his name" asked Issa. "Noah" he said. Then someone calls Sam from behind and asks him to come play with them. Then he says bye and goes to play with them. Then we both went home.

When I reach home I again start reading the novel. I really like reading novels. I see that we have new neighbours and they are moving in today. Then I notice I have a clear view of one room in my neighbours house, but I won't have much need of it.

I don't remember what Sam actually said but I don't think the new boy can compete with me.

"Mi-ra come down stairs" my mom yells. "Coming" When I went downstairs she said "Come sit on the couch let's watch a movie"."Not in the mood". "Fine call your brother to come accompany me" "K". I go call my brother and go to my room and start reading my novel.
