Lets get started.
I was 14. A young curious girl who's heart didn't know how to control itself. I had a huge crush on a guy called...lets call him austin. Yeah so a huge crush on Austin. Everyday I used to watch him in my math class. Dream that one day he'll ask me out or even just speak to me without feeling weird.
One time, I was walking in the playground with my friend Lucy. She had a crush on "Austin's" best friend, Romeo. So every lunch and break time we would walk around talking about them and looking at them. We was sad yeah we know...
Austin was a cool guy, who had a respectable amount of friends and a strong family who kept him grounded and not stray far away from reality. Carly always said that austin had a thing for me but of course I'm gonna deny it, I mean c'mon look at me. I'm a potato.
But there was this one lunchtime. This one, special lunchtime, when I realised where Carly was getting this idea from. Basically, there was this other guy who I used to be crazy for called..."Jamie" and he obviously thought I still liked him, so he would continue to flirt with me but I just wasn't having it. That lunchtime he was attempting to flirt with me, I looked over to Austin and caught him staring at me. Now if you got caught staring at someone you look away as quickly as possible. But no. He kept his gaze and began to walk over to me.
"Holy crap" I thought to myself. Why is he coming over here?
"Jamie, lucy, do you mind if I have a word with Aimee?"
"No not at all Austin" Lucy replied.
"Ugh yes I do mind actually"Jamie said sounding like a right dick.
I hit Jamie and said "he doesn't mind, what do you need to talk about?"
"Do you think we could go somewhere a bit more...private" asked Austin sounding kinda scared.
"Yeah sure"
We walked to the back playground where no one ever was, purely because the food was at the front. Hungry people. Anyway, lemme carry on.
"What do you need to tal-"
Before I could finish my sentence, his soft lips crashed onto mine. He slowly pulled away after about 10 seconds.
"Wow" I said looking straight into his light brown eyes.
"You don't understand how long I've been waiting to do that" he replied.
"What was that for?"
"I've kinda liked you for a while, but I always thought you had feelings for Jamie. But when I kissed you, I felt a spark that I've never felt with anyone before. Did you feel it too?" Said Austin.
"Austin, I swear to you, I do not like Jamie. I've liked you too. Like a lot. And yeah I did feel it, it felt strange, I've never felt that way before." I said back, still gazing into his eyes.
"So do you um, maybe wanna go out sometime?"
"Sure, I'd love to"
"Saturday, ill pick you up at 7?"
"Sounds amazing, thank you Austin"
"No problem, babe."
