The New Journey

Chapter 1. Intro

"Cedar! Are you up?"

I woke up from my nap. I yawn turning to Juniper, My mom and the professor of the Unova region

"Hm.. Yeah" I stretched my arms outward and looked outside the window and noticed a 2 story house

 "Oh we've arrived! I'll start moving our stuff!"

I get out of the truck and smile at juniper. My excitement got the better of me and I failed to notice all the suitcases and bags we packed were on the porch already.

"Cedar," Juniper chuckles. "I already moved everything to the porch! You were asleep for a long while"

I looked towards the house and saw the suitcases, bags, and boxes already moved, I looked at juniper and smiled brightly. '

"Oh sorry," I laughed and walked to the house "This home is so big! Why didn't you wake me up? Also weren't Peach and Raiden going to meet us here?"

I look around and notice the boxes were empty, Juniper must have put everything away already as I napped.

"Peach and Raiden did meet us here but you were asleep, I took them to the airport so they're now off to kalos! let's get inside it's getting dark"

Juniper goes to the house and enters with me at her side, We enter and I'm struck in amazement as I look around the house

"Woah! This place is awesome!"

I ran around the house with a sudden surge of excitement

"Before I go to pick us up some dinner, I have a present for you. Only choose one!" Juniper pulls out a box from her bag and puts it on the kitchen table "Open it son!"

I walk up to the box and lift the lid.. To see 3 pokeballs that all have a specific design to them, one on the left was caught in a forest green pokeball that faded to yellow the more it goes up, The middle pokeball was a was a reddish-red color that shaded to a black, and the right one was a blue that also went into a tan-gray color.

"You're giving me a pokemon? Really?!"

I stared back at Juniper in shock.. She was actually giving me a pokemon. I gently grabbed the right pokeball and let the pokemon inside the pokeball and an Oshawott came out. Oshawott looked at me and climbed my arm to get on my shoulder.

"So you chose oshawott! Good choice in fact it's the same choice both Peach and Raiden made" Juniper puts the lid back on the box and pulls out a smaller box handing it to me. "This is a gift Peach and Raiden prepared for you.. They told me it took them a while to get this for you"

I held the box to me and gently removed the bow and opened the box to show a luxury ball

"Huh? A pokeball?"

I looked at the pokeball confused and took it out of the box and the luxury ball opened itself. A shiny torchic came out of the pokeball and stared at Cedar. Torchic began talking to oshawott who was Cedars shoulder. I Notice a note in the box that was under the luxury ball and grab it as torchic and oshawott conversate and read it

"Hey Pine! It's me and Peach writing to ya!.. well more me writing and peach making sure I didn't mess up any words! Anyways, I hope your time in the Rasra region goes great! I've heard great things about that place don't forget to get me and Peach some artifacts, okay? I'll be keeping in contact with you and juniper whenever we can but it won't be too much! I hear that the Rasra region specializes in double battles instead of the standard one on one battle! Remember what I've taught you and don't forget that 2 on 2 is more intense than single battles. Me and Peach got you that torchic as a partner! Took us weeks to finally hatch it but it's worth it! But keep in mind she might be mischievous! I know juniper will probably give you a starter herself but hey 2 is better than 1 right? It's going to feel weird not seeing each other as often because it's fun playing games with you and teaching you about battles but we'll see each other again because I might come to the region on holidays hah!... okay I'm going to be serious for a moment... it's going to be weird not seeing you.. I still remember when I found you on the streets and took you to professor juniper's house.. I can never forget that night.. you have always felt like my younger brother and I want to keep protecting you.. I'll try my best to keep you safe even if I can't be there with you. okay enough sappy serious talk from me! This might be too long. My hand hurts a bit. I'm not used to writing hah.. well I'll leave it here and have amazing adventures! Remember you only have 1 life so make it count! You have my phone number and Peach's if you ever need any advice!
