Chapter one, The dustins House

Hello! My name is Jackson Indago. My moms name is Vanessa Indago and my dads name is Mark Indago. I have one little sister named Martha Indago and a little brother named Carter Indago. I come from Western Canada but I currently live in U.S.A. Today is another normal day at school. Multiplying fractions in math, Learning Cursive in E.L.A, Learning Ancient Egypt in social studies, And learning the most fantastic thing in the world! Space in science. I've always had a fascination for space and Science were my life long dream has been to visit space and see all the pretty planets and stars. Besides school, Our next door neighbors, the Dustin's house, have a kid the same age as me. Not to mention he looks EXACTLY like me and we were born at the same time on the same date. I didn't think much of it but I want to ask my mom about it. Maybe she has an idea why I looked so alike. Were we cousins? Twin brothers? Or were we just two different kids with a AWSOME relationship. Well, I guess it was one of those. I said to my mom,"Hey mom, Why do me and The Dustin's family's kid have the EXACT same birthdate and we both look the exact same? Not to mention the weird connection I feel I have with him." She looked very nervous then. She slowly and briefly blew in from her nose and out from her mouth and said," Well sweetie, You see, when you were first born, another kid was born with you. So yes, he is your twin brother but he keep him there because we didn't want you to know yet." I looked at her in total shock. All I was thinking was I have a twin brother? Why was my mom keeping that from me? Did dad know? What if I was the one sent away from home to hide from Martha or Carter? I didn't talk for a while. I didn't talk for so long it was time to go to school. I said goodbye to my family and left to school with Martha and Carter. But I had one ALTIMATE question, What was my twin brothers name? I had to find out some time later so I could get on the bus. I was to exited to get to science and learn about Space. Last night I studied SUPER hard to get the highest grade in science. Of course I had to get my grades up in other classes like science, Social studies, Math, And E.L.A but I was more concerned about my favorite class. At school, we have a system were we have two periods in the morning. Then we have lunch and recces and something we call Win block afterwards. During Win block we use this app for school called "I-ready" I don't enjoy I-ready but it's required to have 45 minutes on both E.L.A and Math I-ready. To bad their isn't a science I-ready. I got off the bus and got into school. My twin brother walked up to me and said,"Hey! So I've heard you know your my twin brother now." Really!? So he knows that I was his twin brother as well. I'm starting to get SERIOUS trust issues with my family. I loo,Ed at him and said," Yea but anyway, what's your name?" His face was telling me that if he told me his name I would get upset. But he told me anyway. He said," My name is Jackson. Jackson Indago." All I could think was,"Are you kidding me!?" His name was Jackson? So now I have a Secret twin brother who I hate an his name is Jackson. I was mad but I had other things to worried about. The fact that the teacher was now yelling at us because me and Jackson lost track of time and was talking for thirteen minutes straight in the hallway. It wasn't that serious because I was only missing math. Math is the worst so I really don't mind.
