The Wolf Affair

Chapter 8 Willow

(Willow's POV)

I carried the rabbit I caught back to the camp and dropped it. I growled and shifted back, my black hair falling over my face. I moved it over and signaled that it was safe. A small black head poked out of the cave and quickly ran out.

Light red eyes looked up at me, and the small wolf growled. I smiled, sat down, and started the fire back up, cooking the rabbit up for us. "Are you sure you want to eat that? There's plenty of fruits and herbs here." A girl said from the branch of an oak tree, I looked at her and shook my head.

"Wolves eat meat, human child. You should not even be here. Where is your pack?" I said, glancing up at her. She had light brown hair and light skin. Her eyes were a light blue and she wore strange clothing. "How many times do I have to tell you? I'm alone out here, and you are lucky I'm here. Otherwise, your friend wouldn't have lasted a day...." She stated, trailing off at the last part.

She jumped down and walked over to the small cave. In it, you could see the outline of a figure laying on the ground. I finished the rabbit and gave it to the small wolf who had shifted back and followed her. In the dark, I could see the figure breathing slowly. The girl walked up and gently touched their ears, I sat down and moved the light black hair out of their face.

Seth was my best friend, the only one I thought to trust back then. He understood me, my fears and worries. So when war broke out, I worried for him. He'd never been mean or fierce. He was afraid of everything. I loved him, and not just as a friend.

When me and Flash (One of Amber's son's) found him, he was scared and hurt. His injuries were terrible, and he was so scared he couldn't understand us. He was sick as well, so I had no clue how long he had been awake for but then a little girl found us. She was sweet but strange, but she helped us.

I looked at her and saw something in her eyes. There was more to her than she told us. I was going to find out what it was.

Sorry, I'm lazy and don't want to think of more stuff for this chapter. But the next one will be kind of fun. Let me explain.

I might do little stories like the chapters removed and added with Shadow and Light. These will involve Alex and maybe some of the wolves and gods. As well as Light and Shadow. And maybe be the little corruption-

Light: Author! Don't spoil!

Shadow: I have to agree, don't spoil it, writer.

Hey, this is my time to talk, you idiots! This is the authors notes. But fine, I won't spoil the secret..... Wait, you're not meant to know about that!

Light: Oops! Sorry, I got to go!

Light! Whatever... Anyway, sorry this was short it's like 2AM right now, so I'm lazy. Bye!
