Ruth looks at me confused. "What do you mean?"
"What the fuck did you do? I asked you for one thing, one thing Ruth! And you couldn't even do it!" I whisper-yell at her.
She frowns. "I know but you were getting cozy again, I saw you! And I had to let her know what was going on! She needs to understand you're with me. Not her."
I stare at her in disbelief.
She lets out a long sigh. "Besides, she was bound to find out eventually. Why do you care so much?"
"Because she's my friend Ruth!"
"But-"
"You know what, Fuck you! I came to have a fun time at this premiere because I worked hard on this movie! I'm going to let you ruin this for me, we'll deal with this later!" I spit at her and leave her standing in the back while I make my way inside the theater. I have to introduce the movie with some of the other cast, and while all the guests and whoever else wants to watch the movie, the rest of us go straight to the afterparty.
