Kari's new and watery form was a sight for all of us to behold. The ocean looked more beautiful for some reason. Parts of her body connected with the excited area of H2O. "So tell me, Lucian was it?" Kari began to speak.

"Do answer something for me." Kari began to walk closer and closer towards the confused dragon. "Have ever tried drowning yourself before?" Kari somehow snapped her wet fingers, and multiple geysers of hot water were shot up.

The water formed from just being pressurized water blasts into nine huge water dragons. "Kill him." Kari demanded. My heart jumped at the sudden command. I knew we had to stop Lucian, but I didn't want him to die.

Yet despite the odds that Lucian was facing, he didn't fold. Shock was in his eyes for a moment, but that was quickly replaced by a flare of determination. As the dragons rushed at him, he roared and fought back.

Fighting for his life, he dodged and bit a few of the watery projections for a hot minute, but some had already gotten a good grip on his body with their aquatic fangs. Thank fully Lucian took out a quarter of the rest, otherwise it'd be worse.

The water projections weren't able to actually make him fatally bleed, but they did hold him in place. Kari was smiling at this. Lucian saw the look that she had in her eyes. It looked like a sense of... superiority.

Something in Lucian snapped. Next thing I knew, he struggled angrily out of the grip of Kari's dragons and tore them all apart one by one, reducing them into nothing else, but normal H2O.

Kari didn't expect that to happen I was sure. Filled with rage, Lucian flashed towards Kari at top speed widening his jaws. By the time he clamped them shut at Kari's former position, she vanished into the sea.

Lucian looked around to see where she was, but there was no sign of her. Lucian dived down and kept looking underwater, but he came out with nothing. And that's when I saw something ridiculous happen...

A giant liquid hand sprouted out of the ocean and grabbed Lucian's entire body like he was a snake. As if that was already unbelievable enough, it was actually Kari's hand that did that, which was connected to her new giant body.

I didn't know what exactly happened to her, but she was absolutely humongous! She stood up with half of her body out of water, and stared at Lucian who was literally at the mercy of her hand.

"So what was it that you wanted from me? My treasure? My pride?! Or maybe a dead relative..." Kari squeezed a struggling Lucian. I could tell that there was a chance that he was actually gonna die.

I flew towards them once more, as fast as I could. "Maybe instead of trying to bring them back..." Kari brought Lucian closer to her mouth. And with all my might, I went into drake form and boosted over the water that rippled from my presence.

"I can allow you to join them." Kari opened her mouth. Lucian tried to spit fire at her mouth, but it became weaker from the pressure his body was under. During that moment, I couldn't help it. I felt something, deep within me.

A gray aura radiated off of my body. I felt a huge amount of adrenaline flow through my very being. Yet at the same time... I had grown so angry. And in such a short amount of time as well.

'Switch with me.' Chalk tried to convince me, 'I can save your friend, and this will all be over.' I listened to him whisper in my ear. From that point onward, I refused. I wanted to keep my body and remain my own sense of self.

But subconsciously, I found myself roaring at Kari. For some reason, this one felt different. It felt stronger, Colder, Dangerous, Heavy, destructive, and... oddly satisfying.

Once it reached Kari's arms, they were blasted off instantly. I didn't know why or how it took so long for her to regenerate, but I didn't care. All I wanted to do was save an old friend from an unnecessary death.

When I saw him fall, I demanded for the wind to pull him towards me. He was too tired to fight back, and I believe he knew that I was trying to save him. Therefore... I used the water that was around us to trap his body in a big block of ice.

The ice I trapped him in was heavy, but not fatal. At the very least, it put him to sleep for a while. I watched as Lucian's frozen body began to sink all the way down towards the underwater kingdom. I smiled, thankful that he was alive.

I can't say that Kari was too happy about it though, because the water that I stepped over grabbed me tightly. I froze the water and broke out quickly, but I was chased by multiple Kari clones that sprouted out from the water.

"KARI, CALM DOWN!" I beckoned. "You have NO RIGHT to tell me to calm down. It's become clear that you're with the enemy." Kari glared as she spat water at my way.

I dodged it without too much difficulty, but she continued to keep going while I was busy avoiding and slicing her clones with a newly conjured snow blade. "KARI! I KNOW YOU'RE ANGRY, BUT SO IS HE! HE LOST SO MUCH!!" I called out to her as I cut down her clones

I still couldn't cut quicker than the amount of clones she overwhelmed me with. "Sorry, I don't see that as my problem." Kari raised her newly regenerated arms, and a huge mountain of water caged me in.

That along with the clones getting on top of me... I couldn't contain any more of my aggravation. "STOP IT!!!" A huge burst of ice was released from my body. From the water I hovered, to the water that had me surrounded. All of it froze.

I soared high above the now frozen ice all and looked at Kari who gave me a look of disgust. "YOU KNOW THAT HE'S LOST SOMETHING SO WHY?! WHY BE SO HEARTLESS ABOUT IT WHEN I KNOW THAT YOU LOST SOMETHING TO!!?" I yelled.

It looked like my words hit her that time. "ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU LET HIM LIVE! THAT IS ALL!!" I pleaded my lungs out. Embarrassment I felt, but also ignored. Kari started to decrease in size as she looked down solemnly.

That was strangely easier than I thought it would be, but thing's weren't the same for long. Thunder started to rage from above, but the color began to shift. Green and black flashes started appearing across the sky.

I looked to where Luni was fighting Maoi and noticed that she was looking up. I followed her gaze and my eyes layed upon a scaly Maoi covered in black lightning. I heard something whir up in the clouds, then SHOOM!

Multiple focused blasts of black and green lightning struck into the ocean. From below, I heard screams and explosions occurring. "MY KINGDOM!!!" Kari yelled in a fury as Luni dived down to protect it.
