Chapter 1:

"I'm sorry! I just think you need to be a little more social, Tessa" My best friend Bradley says. I glare at him "I am social!" "Listen, you know I love you and this is why I'm telling you this." Bradley explains with a pleading look on his face. I glance at his face and then sighs loudly "Ugh fine, want me to join that one stupid website everyone's on?" Bradley's whole demeanor immediately brightens up, "Social.org?" "Yeah... That one." I whip out my phone and check my texts. "Yes! I'm going to set up an account when I get home." Bradley says. "Alright whatever, okay well I have to go. Text me later." I say to Bradley and then walk home. "I'm homeeeeeeee." I call out as I slam my front door. I listen for a response, and there isn't one. I walk upstairs, into my room and turn my music up so loud I can't hear anything else. I grab my laptop and lay on my bed. I type in Social.org. My finger hesitates over the enter button. I sigh and press enter. "Ok, let's make an account for myself." I look over the questions on the page. This is gonna be easy.

Age- 16

That was surprisingly simple. Almost immediately I hear a ding. I click on the little Envelope.
Bradley98- Hey! I see you set up your own account.
Tessa97- Yeah, I figured why not?
Bradley98- Well now your social!
Tessa97-Yay, I guess?
Bradley98- Okay well I have to go text you later!
Tessa97-Okay bye.
I smile as I close the computer. Maybe I will start being a little more social. I walk downstairs, just to watch the front door open. "Oh hey mom!" "Hi sweetie, " My mom says. "How was work?" I ask as I open the fridge. "Same as always." My mom says as she walks upstairs. I smirk. I make some food for myself and then walk upstairs to begin my treacherous homework. It's probably three hours later when I finally finish my homework. I grab my laptop and sit on my bed. Social.org. I see that I have a little friend request. I click on it Cooper34 I click accept.
Tessa97- hey, who is this?
Cooper34- cooper
Tessa97-okay well hi. I have to go but talk tomorrow
Cooper34- definitely
I can feel the creases on my forehead begin to form. I sign off and climb into bed. I think about "Cooper" until I finally fall asleep.

Okay! So obviously this is a different book. I will probably still work on my other book but who knows. This is totally unedited so I will get back to editing it but yeah! Umm keep reading if you like it. It's a super short chapter but hey it's just the first one.
