She had been selected for their latest experiment, one that promised to bring about a new era of human evolution. But as she stepped inside the sterile room, she couldn't help but feel uneasy.The experiment involved injecting a serum directly into the brain, one that would supposedly unlock parts of the mind that had never been used before. Anna lay on the table, her head held in place by a series of straps. The needle pierced her skull, and she felt a searing pain shoot through her entire body.As the serum coursed through her veins, Anna felt a sense of euphoria wash over her. She could see colors she'd never seen before, hear sounds she'd never heard. But as the experiment continued, the euphoria turned to horror.Anna's mind was no longer her own.
