I walked in my house to see my mom, Jay and Sarah on the couch.
"Nia" my mom started, "Come sit" she patted a seat next to her.
"What happened?" I asked her taking a seat.
"I wanted you to be here when I announce that your friend, Tyler is coming to New York with us!" She spoke in a cheery voice.
"I am?!" Tyler said looking confused
"He is?!" I followed, looking confused also
"Yes! Tyler your father started packing up your things this morning and he'll send the rest of your stuff next week."
"Thats awesome!" Tyler shouted while looking at me with his honey brown eyes.
I've never noticed how beautiful they looked...
"Nia."
And how his pupil grew slightly larger when he was surprised
"Nia?"
God, It feels like his eyes are some type of-
"NIA!"
"H-huh?" I snapped out of my trance and noticed everyone staring at me... which was quite awkward.
"W-What did I do?" I could feel my cheeks getting hot.
"Well your mom told me I'm staying here until we leave.." Tyler still had an uncomfortable look on his face
"Oh," I let out a breath that I didn't even know i was holding in "okay"
As my mom walked up the stairs to her room, I looked at everyone around me. Sarah, Jacob, Tyler... I loved them so much... Why do I have to leave? Before I knew it, I was getting comforted by Jacob and Sarah, Both on either side of me.
"I thought Sarah told you not to cry, You jerk." Jacob smiled at me and I squeezed him tight. I'm going to miss his insults... Why do I have to leave?
"Yeah.. I remember telling you that" Sarah smiled, Her eyes filled with tears. I pulled Sarah by the arm so that she was now apart of the hug. I'm going to miss Sarah's comfort. She was the most matured one out of all of us.. Almost like a mother to the group. Why? Why do I have to go?
Tyler stood up from his seat across from us and looked at us hugging. We stopped hugging and looked up at him. "This isn't the end of us.. This isn't a goodbye. Its more of a 'See ya later'. "He began. "We will still be together" We all looked confused at him "Okay maybe not physically but spitirually.." Our confusion grew even more.
"That.." Jacob began " Is the most deepest, yet THE most dumbest thing I've ever heard you say, Bro" We all laughed and we hugged some more.. I loved every minute of it.

It has been about 8 hours since we left my house. I fell asleep about 2 hours in with me and Tyler in the back seat of my mother's car. The last thing I remembered is me crying my eyes out in front of my house while Sarah's mom drove off with her daughter and Jacob. Boy, do I miss them already. I looked into the rear view mirror to see my mother driving, strictly paying attention to the street ahead of her. I then looked at myself. My eyes red and puffy from all the crying earlier. I then looked at the way I was seated...
No..
No no no no no.
Oh my gosh no!
I felt my cheeks get super hot as I saw what kept me from falling over. My head was on leaned against Tyler's shoulder and we were both under his superman blanket. How the hell did I get like this? Wait.. that doesn't matter. WAIT! My mom had to see this! Why didn't she tell Tyler to move? Does she not hate him? Why am I making such a big deal out of this? Shut up, Nia you knew him since the 6th grade this is perfectly normal for best friends. Or is it...? Whatever.
I felt my phone on my lap but couldn't see it so I pulled the blanket off of me to see Tyler's arm wrapped around my waist. The temperature below my eyes suddenly rose. I slowly put his arm on the seat. I can't believe that th-
"Oh hey hun you're up" My mom spoke, Scaring me out of my thoughts while keeping her eyes on the road even though there were only a few cars on the steets since it was so dark. "I didn't notice you were up." She smiled, her eyes still locked on the road. "I noticed you fell asleep in an odd position so I asked Tyler to move you ov-"
"It's fine mom." I cut her off and looked around at my surroundings. "Where are we anyways?". "We entered Georgia not to long ago, actually." She answered.
Goodbye Florida...
"Oh.." I looked at her once more through the rear view mirror before plugging some headphones in my ears and looking out of the window.
Here we come New york...
