~~Back to 1st Person POV~~

I felt so many different emotions. Sadness. Confusion. Nervousness. Scared. Angry. Tired.

While slowly opening my eyes I got hit by the darkness surrounding me. It first came to my attention that this was not a familiar environment. I didn't even realize that there was a ventilator on me which I took off. I hastily leaped off the bed to figure out where I was. It didn't come to my attention that there was an IV drip attached to me and its stand started spinning all over the place.

The sudden movement of landing on my own feet and jerking my whole body forward, started giving me excruciating pain in my head. My vision started continuously doubling as I saw multiple things of everything that were in the room. I closed my eyes and bit down on my lip so hard that I could start tasting the familiar metallic taste on my tongue. As I was trying to balance myself, I ripped off the IV drip and then opened my eyes again.

I looked down and saw that I was wearing a pale purple gown. My impaired vision was beginning to slowly go away and I started looking around for my clothes which I spotted in a bin that was kept near the door. My skin had gotten a few shades paler because of how cold the room was. It could basically have passed off as a morgue with this temperature. Not having my undergarments underneath made it easier for the cold to reach my skin. And it was leaving pink patches on my hands.

I bunched up my clothes in a ball and leaned against the wall near the door. There were faint footsteps and speaking coming from out of the room which were getting louder. Based off of the sounds of heels clicking and a second pair of footsteps ,I presumed there were two people.

I looked around the dark room and there was barely anything even in here for me to use for self defense. There was a closet but I assumed it probably didn't have anything as the rest of the room didn't. I came up with the decision that I would just use myself.

I quickly put on my now tattered trench coat and as I was about to pull on my pants someone barged in causing me to throw the clothes to the ground and lunge towards the opponent.

"Calmati, Ira. It's just me." a familiar voice said as she began hugging me.

My defense mechanisms slowly started coming down when she pulled back and smiled at me.

"Eva!? Is that you? I missed you so much, milgore." I said while trying to not cry of happiness.

"Cara, I missed you more than you could imagine. Now before you let those tears flow, why don't I give you some clothes to wear? Hm? Yours are all torn and have blood on them. I'll be back with the-"

"No, it's okay. And I don't cry anymore. I've become stronger you know." I said, hoping she wouldn't catch the lie.

"It's good to hear that. I hope your not hiding anything from me, Ira." she hesitated while asking that.

Before I could respond back she said "I'll be back with something for you to eat. Don't leave the room. Please." and she hurriedly left the room with the noise of her heels echoing outside the quiet space that lied outside the room.

I quickly put on the rest of my clothes and my boots. The jewelry had left scratches on my wrists and dried blood coated the intricate designs. I couldn't remember how and what caused me to get into this state though. I would probably have to ask Eva about it. She told me not to leave the room but I couldn't help but wonder where she had brought me. The thought of her bringing me to her... No it couldn't be.. She wouldn't do that.

I started panicking and clutching the sides of my head. She wouldn't possibly bring me back there after everything that had occurred. I know she changed. She wouldn't involve me with the past. I started pacing back and forth. What happened to the second pair of footsteps? And where was my phone?

At that time, Eva came back inside.

"Here you go. I could only make a ciabatta sandwich there wasn't much left in the fridge. We can stop by somewhere if you would like on the way to your house." she said.

"Thank you. Where exactly are we Eva?" I hesitated while asking. She had done so much for me. I didn't want to sound rude by asking her but I felt like I had a right to know.

"Ira.. Please try to understand. There was less ti--"

"Get to the point, Eva." I said while trying to keep my voice even.

I knew there was obviously a reason she wasn't letting me open the door but how else did she think I would be able to get out? From the freaking window? So I walked towards the door and yanked on it but it wouldn't budge.

"Oh. My. God. Eva. Please tell me, you did not just lock us in here."  At this point under no circumstance was I going to stay in this box. I started tugging on the door hoping there would be someone who would hear it and open it.

"Ira. Please. Just calm down. I wouldn't have brought you here if I had any other choice. I was only trying to see what was best at that time. Try to understan- -"

"Open the door." I said quietly. I had stopped tugging on the door and was staring at the now blank ECG machine. It was facing away from the direction of her face. After not hearing her response I turned around to see her rapidly typing on the phone. My anger started to slowly rise. I couldn't believe she was ignoring me to do work on her phone.

I walked towards the closet and opened it. There were a few burnt photos lying on the ground and I picked it up. Horror and dread filled my stomach when I saw two familiar looking pair of green eyes staring back at me in Armani suits. On the left side of the 6'3 man a younger version of Evangeline Stryker grinned back at the camera as the both men stood there emotionlessly.

It felt like someone had once again ripped out my heart and stomped on it a billion times.

Why hadn't she ever told me that her husband knew this awful man?
