Lisa is looking at the picture in her hand. It's a picture of Jennie and their daughter, Chiquita. She can't believe that her daughter already grew up. Looking exactly like her.

"Your daughter, she's amazing, Lisa. For a ten year old girl, she's so mature."

Lisa smiled upon hearing those words. She really misses her wife and her daughter. "Thank you, sir. I'll trade everything I have just to be with them."

The Lieutenant stood up from his chair and held Lisa's shoulder.

"You can go home now, Lisa." She looked at him as if he was sure. "You fought for our country, even though your life was at risk."

"But sir, I don't want my family to get involved. I'm scared to risk their lives as well while I am with them." Lisa closed her eyes. She can't imagine something bad will happen to her family. She endured being away having zero communication with her family just for their safety.

Even though every morning waking up with no Jennie beside her, didn't witness each birthday celebration of them, her daughter's firsts was killing her little by little, she had to endure it all.

"Lisa, you don't have to worry about everything. The group that has been attacking us are already gone. The mastermind of all this was betrayed by his own men. They killed him. After they did that, they surrendered to the law. I guess they got tired from doing despicable things and I heard their family got involved too, maybe that's the reason of their betrayal."

Lisa can't believe she's heard this after ten long years. And that she can now go home.

-----

"I thought I will never see you again." Lisa faced her family that's been crying from the moment she told them her story.

Chiquita went behind her sitting Dada and hugged her. She carefully putted her chin on Lisa's shoulder. Lisa caressed her child's hand and gestured Jennie to go near her.

"We never lost hope on seeing you, my love." Jennie kissed Lisa's cheek. "We've missed you."

"Thank you for not giving up. Sorry I kept you waiting." Jennie can't handle the happiness now that Lisa is holding her again. She kissed Lisa's lips repeatedly while saying 'I love you' in between those.

"So you were Mom and Dad's surprise to us?" Jennie looked at her in-laws who nodded towards her.

"Best birthday gift ever!!!" Chiquita shouted from the top of her lungs and they all laughed as they all hugged. Lisa can't contain her happiness. She still can't believe that she is now with her family.

And most importantly, with her daughter and the love of her life, her soulmate, Jennie Kim-Manoban.

"Dada, I have an important question that's been living free on my beautiful brain since forever." Lisa chuckled upon hearing her daughter. She faced her daughter and raised her left brow.

"What is it?" Chiquita stopped from using her phone. She rushed to see her mom at the kitchen then came back quickly. Lisa curiosly scrunched her nose. "What is it? Really. Is there any trouble you got in? Is it something mommy will scold you?"

"No, Dada! I'm an ace student. I won't get myself into trouble." Lisa sighed and stared at Chiquita again.

"So what is it?"

"I just wanna ask how did you pull off Mommy? I heard she wasn't into you the time when you liked her."

Lisa chuckled, "mommy said that?" She asked.

"So it's not true???" Chiquita smirked. "i knew it, mommy" She idolizes her Dada for being a "green flag" and not to mention, her looks.

Lisa's trying to make up for the time she was gone. She always drive and fetch Chiquita to school to the point that her daughter's classmates often see her. And now all of Chiquita's classmates has a crush on Lisa. So Chiquita doesn't believe that her Mommy didn't like her Dada when she first saw her?

"No, no, no.. actually that is true, my child." Chiquita got curious.

"What? But why?"

"Maybe because I wasn't on my best self when I met her... I was far from being a better person. But I changed myself. Not only because of your Mom of course, but mainly for myself. I proved myself to your Mom. I courted your Mamu and Papu. I got their yes easier than your Mommy's yes though." Lisa glanced at the arc of their kitchen. She saw Jennie who was now looking at them smiling. She came near Lisa and kissed her lips. Chiquita closed her eyes laughing at her parent's sweetness.

"So, you really didn't believe me." Jennie playfully glared at her daughter.

"Mooom you can't blame me! My classmates kept asking me about Dada! They're all fantasizing her!" Chiquita rolled her eyes then sighed. "Dada took the spotlight from me."

Even though Jennie knew that her daughter's classmates are all at their young age, she still can't suppress the little jealousy she's feeling, well, she's not THE JENNIE KIM if she's not possessive to her Lisa.

(Joke!! Lol)

"From now on, I'll come with you when you drive and fetch your daughter to her school. I'll make all of your fan girls to stop dreaming about you."

Chiquita can't believe that her Mommy Jen has this side. But what shocked her was the reaction of her Dada. She seemed to like this side of her Mommy Jen.

"I'm not complaining though. I hope I'll have what Mommy and Dada has, in the future."
