          “I made you a vegetable salad, and also fried your favourite part of chicken.” ngiti agad ang sumilay sa labi ko nang iabot ni papa ang dalawang paper bag, simula nang mangyari ang sakunang iyon ay hindi ko na tinagka pang ukyatin nang malalim ang mga nakaraang alam kong may iba pang hindi ko nalalaman.

“Salamat, pa.” pagpapasalamat ko at agad siyang niyakap.

I live in my condo alone, I still live with the same hotel with Luinax. After what happened, we still treated each other like something was never happen. We still sweetly smile on each other, exchanging iloveyou's, and telling each other how our days went.

We often spent time with each other, he was busy preparing for his flight back in Canada while I am busy preparing for the opening of my first business of flower shop. We had busy schedules but still we make an effort to be with each other, like we plan a day to go out and we should cancel all our appointments in that day.

“Hmm, what date is it now it's already 15 in May? I am planning of opening it at 24 of June.” sabi ko habang minamarkahan ang calendar sa taas ng dining table ko. “Luinax will go to Canada in July 1, so I must open it before he'll flew.”

Inilabas ko sa paper bag ang mga pagkain na dala niya, mahigit tatlong pirasong manok ang niluto niya at isang bowl naman ng salad. I am not really a vegetarian eater but since papa made a salad for me, I started to like it. I did not tell him that I like salad but he makes me those, and I did not intend to like it. Maybe he really good at cooking.

Ngayon ko lang napansin na nakangiti pala siyang nakatingin sa akin.

“You may not know me that time, but I saw you fell in love with that guy. You know, Luinax is a good person, he is really an amazing person. I was with you in Canada, monitoring your studies.” parang ang sarap sa pakiramdam na 'yung magulang mo ay pinapahalagahan ang taong minamahal mo, and listening to him while describing my love is really like floating on the water.

“Luinax is not yet my boyfriend, pa. We still haven't talk about our label, but you know I love that person.”

“It starts with that, that's slowburn honey.” I do not know what's slowburn means, but if papa said it then it must be a good start of being in love.

Inaya ko siyang kumain sa dala niya, lunch time na rin nang tumunog ang cellphone ko. Agad ko itong kinuha upang tignan, mensahe galing kay Luinax. Hanggang ngayon ay gamit ko parin ang cellphone na ginagamit ko sa Canada, simula nang ibalik ni Luinax ang lumang cellphone ko ay hindi ko parin iyon nabubuksan hanggang ngayon.

“Would you like to go with me?” papa asked as I replied Luinax.

“Where are we going?”

“In the cemetery.” napataas ang kilay ko sa naisagot niya, mahina siyang napatawa at itinuon ang pansin sa kinakain.

“Selene and I will go there, it's her sister's 21st death anniversary.” napaisip naman ako, wala naman akong gagawin sa bahay pero aasikasuhin ko ang papeles na agreement para sa lote na bibilhin ko sa downtown. Wala rin dito si Luinax dahil inaasikaso rin ang mga papeles niya paalis, at kung sa aasikasuhin ko naman mag babase ay pwede ko rin naman iyon ipagpaliban para makasama sila.
