so this was the original cinderella cover. interesting.

anyways, here's ladynoir, cinderella, and some talking mice! (and seriously, i'm just gonna say it now: cinderella 3 was better than this).

"You picked Cinderella?" Cat Noir stared at the case.

Ladybug shrugged. "I mean, yes, there's Lady Tremaine, who is--" she faked gagging--"and the prince doesn't have any personality like in the third one, which I swear was one giant meme, but it's still not as bad."

"It is a classic," Cat Noir agreed. "So... you ready for it?"

"Whenever you are," Ladybug grinned.

Ladybug landed on her face, noticing a sleeping girl in the bed.

Wait... where did Cat Noir go?

Ladybug peeled herself from the floor and saw the sun beginning to rise through the window.

A couple of birds landed on the windowsill.

"Are you serious?" Ladybug groaned. "Every time it's a Disney Princess movie now, is it? I'm just gonna be bombarded by you guys?"

The birds chirped in confusion.

"Wait, you understand me?" she furrowed her brows, and the birds chirped in response.

"Oh, gosh, this is so much worse than Snow White," she groaned.

A moan interrupted her as the girl in the bed shifted position. The birds flew over and tried waking her up.

"So that's Cinderella, got it," Ladybug said, watching as Cinderella buried herself under her pillow. "She's already kinda relatable."

Cinderella finally opened her large blue eyes, sitting up and noticing the heroine.

"How did you even get in here?" she asked, her voice like honey.

Ladybug blinked, realizing she technically had shown up out of nowhere. "Would you believe me if I said magic? I'm Ladybug, by the way."

Cinderella giggled a little, beginning to undo one of her braids. "I was just having a lovely dream. You know, a dream is just a wish your heart makes."

"Something we're bound to hear for the next while," Ladybug shrugged.

A bird chirped at her as if in agreement.

"You understand them as well?" Cinderella asked.

"Unfortunately," Ladybug sighed. "Any chance you would've seen a boy in a cat costume around here?"

"Sounds very specific," Cinderella said. "Are you and this boy together or something?"

"Not exactly," Ladybug said.

A bird chirped in response.

"You're not helping," she groaned.

At that moment, a mouse in a red blouse and scarlet jacket scampered from a hole.

"Why hello, Jacques," Cinderella said, letting him settle on her bedpost.

Everything was interrupted by a ring, and they saw the clock tower chiming.

"Oh, that clock," Cinderella groaned, sliding out of bed, still gripping her pillow. "Old killjoy. I hear you! Get up! Start another day!"

"Mood," Ladybug shrugged.
