The sheep eyed us warely, unsure what to make of us.

Being the one who at least could form a few words, I broke the silence.

"Um, hello there, little thing, we come in peace."

Daniel kicked me in the leg and wore a displeased look.

"Oww, what the heck!"

"Stop being cheesy, we don't want to give the poor thing a hard attack, let me handle this."

Daniel walked towards the sheep who began to look around for something to protect herself, but that made Daniel stop at a safe distance from the sheep.

"sup cotton!!!"

The sheep screamed at the top of her lungs, but as soon as she did, I covered her mouth.

"Quiet, those police animals will find us!"

The sheep stopped struggling and she began to think, what she was thinking was beyond us.

"Okay, listen, I'm gonna take my hand away from your mouth, and you won't scream, right?"

The sheep nodded.

"Good."

I let go of the sheep's mouth and took a step back to give her some room.

"What on earth are you things?"

"Should we tell her, bro?"

I thought about the many ways this sheep could rat us out but I wanted to ask one question first. I began to give her a little bit of a harsh glare.

"How do I know you won't call these ZPD guys?"

"Why would I even bother, I'd just get locked up again."

Oh great, she's a criminal, now they will want us for sure.

"So you're not going to call the authorities? Natalie asked, fiddling with her hands."

"No, I'm unsure what to do now, I recently got out of jail and now I have two wanted mammals in my house, I have truly hit rock bottom."

"Um, well, here's the thing, we are new to this city, we are separated from our parents, you would mind letting us stay here would you?"

The sheep mulled over the pros and cons, she was struggling to figure out what to do with us, I told Daniel and Natalie to get ready to run in case things go south, we'd just have to take our chances out there.

The sheep sighed. "Okay, fine, you can stay here, not like I have anything left to lose."

"Yay, thank you miss!" Natalie ran up and hugged the sheep who flinched a bit, she probably hadn't been hugged too many times in her life.

Or maybe she was just jumpy seeing we might be the only humans here.

"So, what are your names? You know, if you're gonna be staying here, I have to call you something."

Well, I guess it won't hurt to give our names.

"I'm Brian, these are my siblings, Daniel and Natalie."

The sheep turned to see our dog's eating off of the counter.

"Diablo, Lucy, no!"

"You have infected mammals with you, I should have called the cops when I had the chance!"

"No no don't worry, they are... uh... they are our friends, yeah, friends."

"And they aren't infected by anything, what do you mean by that?"
