Jungkook
The moment we're back in our hideout, we take Bud to some sort of infirmary where some of our people examine him. Jimin was standing by the stairs with a very worried look when Daria walked up to him and hugged. His hands wrapped around her tightly and he exhaled deeply before pulling her away and scanning her with his eyes. "Are you all right? Are you sure you're not hurt?" Jimin asks Daria as I approach them. "Your best friend has bigger balls than some out there." I say, about to walk past him." Whay about you ,are you all right too?" he asks and I stop to turn to him." yes no worries Everything is fine." I smile at him briefly and then look at Daria, who is watching us with a bit of concern." I'm going to change, then we can talk." I say and receive the positive nod from Jimin." I'll be back soon." I inform them and walk up to the changing rooms and showers. God I'm so tired and could actually just throw myself on the bed and sleep.
The shirt, which was smeared with Bud's blood and smelled like blood, flew straight into the laundry basket when I entered the changing room and closed the door behind me. For a moment I sat down on the bench by the lockers and took a deep breath. My eyes closed on their own as exhaustion took hold of me. The Lockers cold metal hit the hot back of mine, but I didn't want to move as the uncomfortable cold swept over my body like a wave. Out of nowhere, the image of Daria appeared in my mind. How worried she threw herself on me and took that stupid tranquilizer dart. The girl acted far too quickly and, above all, thoughtlessly. She actually took that tranquilizer dart on herself. It wouldn't be like doing me any harm, but she still threw herself in front of me. That worries me quite a bit. Suddenly a light knock fills the quiet room and lets me escape from my thoughts. "Come in." I know who it could be and I open my eyes. A small grin forms on my lips as I see Daria in front of me. She's still in that black suit that suits her so well. She closes the door behind her and threads her fingers in front of her, a little worried and unsure. I watch her and lean forward. My exhausted arms find the support of my thighs and I just look at her quietly and wait for her to let her words run free. Her cheeks flush as she looks at me and her eyes fall repeatedly to my shirtless torso before forcing herself to meet my eyes again. "Eh." She clears her throat and looks away. "I wanted to talk to you for a minute." Her words just come out of her. "Okay. Then don't let stop you from." I don't change anything about myself and stay just the same position. I have to say I really like seeing her like this. That blush on her cheeks, the embarrassed look and the nervousness she shows with every fiber of her body.
"Well I think I pissed you off earlier and wanted to apologize for that."
"And for what exactly?" I ask extra. Because I've already learned one thing about Daria. The girl cares too much about what other people think or feel, she thinks too much about what it might have been, what her fault might be, instead of letting others' reflections on her." Well, that would be my second question." She says embarrassed and looks at the floor. A loud sigh escapes me and I stand up. My hands are in my pockets now and I look at them for a moment before I can say anything again. "I was right." I say more to myself but Daria hears it." Huh, what?" She blinks in confusion. "You don't know why I'm mad at you but I'm sure you already have a few hundred theories in your head. Let's hear what it could be." She's still blinking at me very confused before she looks away and her eyebrows creases. "Well there's the thing that I threw you on the floor." She actually says. I have to stop myself from laughing." That tranquilizer dart also plays a part and-"
"And you didn't think about your safety, that's why." I interrupt her because her theories only confirm what I thought. I step closer to her and have her eyes focused on me again. Those red cheeks. "You didn't think about your own safety, that's the most important thing." I repeat my words.
" You can't just jump in front of me and endanger yourself. You can't. Today it was an arrow and it could have been a bullet. Thank you for letting me from the guard but that arrow was different." Now I stand close to her and watch as she looks up at me." It just happened. " She says and I raise an eyebrow in anticipation." That means...?" I ask and wait for an answer that follows quickly." I thought that I wouldn't be able to do that much damage anyway, so it wouldn't be so bad if this arrow had hit me." She explains and then looks to the side. Now a loud sigh escapes her." Man, I know I can't do much, but you were definitely needed."
