It was dark.
At least, in the eyes of a man who lost everything.
Dark surroundings, seemingly without gravity...
Littered with bones, appearing like a sea of corpses...
Countless memories came flooding into his head.
They were unfamiliar, however, as these memories weren't even his.
He stayed alone, in a seemingly endless torrent of regret. Tears were flooding his eyes, yet they never seem to fall down.
He regrets.
He deeply regrets.
Yet he knew that there was nothing left he could do.
Past events cannot be changed, so his regrets can only remain in futility.
Nevertheless, this is his atonement.
His redemption.
Accepting his fate, the man slowly closed his eyes, when suddenly a bright light invaded the seemingly impenetrable darkness.
"Do you wish for another chance?"
