You awaken to the sound of silence, save for the distant rustling of leaves in the wind. Sitting up and rubbing your eyes, you take in your surroundings and immediately notice the two massive walls on either side of you that seemed to stretch for miles, as well as masses of vegetation including vines and moss that covered those walls. There are large pipes as well that line the walls that seem as if they've been there for years, covered in rust and moss scattered along the tops. The soft, squishy moss feels strange under your feet as you stand up, and you can smell the scent of the fresh autumn air around you. As you make your way forward taking note of everything around you, noticing the lack of life. There aren't any people which isn't too surprising yet it still feels... ominous to a point. You decide to stop and take a moment to see what you might have on you at the moment, checking your pockets, turning out to be a whole lot of nothing.
In the distance you saw that the two walls had come to a close, tunnel entrance. Continuing to walk close to the entrance of the tunnel, you could hear the sounds from the other side of the tunnel, birds chirping, a light breeze, a soft rain pitter pattering. The tunnel was quite dark except for the small light at the very end, and you realized that the tunnel seemed to not twist like a usual tunnel. Curiosity takes over as you begin to walk through the tunnel. As you walked, you felt a slight chill run down your spine and couldn't shake the ominous feeling of being watched. It felt like the tunnel itself was watching you as you walk a bit faster. Eventually you reached the end of the tunnel, the sudden light from the sun causing you to shield your eyes, letting your eyes slowly adjust so you could finally take in your new surroundings.
The walls continue to stretch outward after opening up from the tunnel, although they seem to be rounded as the walls slowly turn towards the right. There's a small stone staircase leading down to the rest of the ground with the ground and stairs being covered with moss. The sun shines in between the two walls that stretch for god knows how long, and you can hear the sounds of birds chirping up in the trees that are randomly scattered about the area.
Continuing along eventually led you to yet another mystery. There was a large chasm in the ground that only seemed to lead further and further down the harder you tried to look. For a second you feel your weight going a bit further forward than you intended and you feel your balance slipping. But thankfully, waving your arms dramatically like a bird made you fall back onto the concrete. Having collected yourself and prevented what you could only assume would've been your painful end, trying again to look much more carefully this time, into the chasm. As you were trying to get a good look at this seemingly never ending hole in the ground you swore you heard something behind you, small crunching like someone walking on gravel, then a twig snap. You quickly spun around to catch whatever was approaching you, only to find that it was just a bird, but to your misfortune the force of you turning around happened to be just enough for you to lose your footing and fall backwards, right into the chasm.
