Chapter 9

Victor's pov:

Mia has been singing to a lot of songs. She has a wide variety for her music taste. She likes Nirvana, Lana Del Rey, 5 SOS, Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Cyndi Lauper, Wiz Khalifa, Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha, FOB, and sooo many more. She looks beautiful, I know it sounds weird but I'm really serious on this relationship. I have never really taken a girl on an actual date before. Mia's so special. She took me out of my thoughts."Victor here's the money for the fucking toll!" I quickly grabbed the five dollar bill and handed it to the dude."What were you thinking about?" "Nothing." "Okay, well at least there was no one behind us." I started to drive on the bridge and looked at Mia. I stopped at a gas station to blindfold her. "People are going to think your kidnapping me." "This is San Francisco, nothing is weird here."

We finally got to Muir Beach. I got everything and helped her out. We walked on a bridge until we got to the beach. I put sone ear buds on her so she would only be able to hear me. Not the waves. She would have figured it out right away. "Take off your shoes." "What? Why?" "Just take them off." "Okay."

Mia's pov:
Why the hell does he want me to take them off?"Just give them to me." I took one off. When I put my foot back on the ground I felt sand. Sand! I quickly took my other one off and gave it to him. He took the blind fold and earbuds off. I recognized where we were immidiatley. He took me to my favorite beach. I give him a really tight hug."You want this date to end at the hospital?" "Sorry, I just. Wow. How'd you know?" "Well, first I asked Nax what your dream date would be. And she said it would be a romantic picnic at the beach. Then I asked your mom what your favorite beach is." We walked over to a big rock. My mouth dropped. He layed out a blanket and there was a basket with food and ARIZONA! He helped me up on the rock and we ate. The sun started to set,"I love sunsets. They are so beautiful! The way the colors mix perfectly." He cleaned up a bit and we cuddled in the blanket, watching the sun set and hearing the waves. "It's beautiful, the way the waves refuse to stop kissing the shoreline no matter how many times it's sent away. Oh god that was sappy." I was surprised by what I said. But, at the same time, I wasn't. When I'm with him I'm like a different person. I become the real me. I say whatever I want to say and do whatever I want to do. A couple minutes later we decided to leave.

He pulled up at my house. Before I got out of the car I gave him a quick kiss and thanked him for everything. I opened the door to my house and find my friends and my cousin in the kitchen waiting for some popcorn. "Your here! Did you get some?" She said bouncing her eyebrows. "Amparo what the hell!" I laughed. "What did I say about talking about my cousin's sex life." Nax whined. "Where'd he take you?" said Lila. "Oh god, he's the sweetest. He took me to my favorite beach and we ate and drank Arizona! And we watched the sunset." I probably looked like Goofy but I didn't care. I guess the five of us were having a sleep over.

We woke up the next day and got ready for school. My cousin left to go to her school and my mom got the truck since my three friends, Victor, my mom, and me weren't going to fit in a car. We all said bye to my mom and walked into school in a big group. I noticed Rodrigo and his friends were at the front of the entrance. Shit, he looked like he was about to kill someone. I got my phone out and pulled up Hector's contact just in case. We passed their group of friends and I thought we were safe until."Hey look at the ass on that slut. You bang that yet Victor?"

I was about to tell him to ignore when he turned around and walked towards Rodrigo. I quickly unlocked my phone and called Hector."Hey Mia, how was your date yesterday?" "Get your ass at the front of school!" By the time I hung up they were starting to fight again. I got in between and quickly kneed Rodrigo in his area. I was so happy I am a blackbelt. Hector got here like seven minutes later."Where were you?" "In the bathroom! Jesus." The vice principal got there and a couple minutes later Victor, Rodrigo, and I were in the office. The principal came in and sat down."I really love my students and staff. So it doesn't just hurt the school's reputation when there are fights, it hurts me as well. Now Mia, you being the one with, um higher grades what is your point of view?" I rolled my eyes at his speech. "Well, we had just passed Rodrigo and his friends and he made a rude comment a-" "What was the rude comment?" I told him everything that happened. Rodrigo was suspended for a month, Fabian was only suspended for a week, and I got suspended for a week since I did hurt Rodrigo.

     My mom was mad at first because I did that but after I told her the whole story she said,"And all you did is knee him in the balls?" I went to sleep thinking about how Victor stuck up for me again. If anything, Rodrigo was helping our relationship strengthen.
