(so i think i have an unhealthy obsession with how gorgeous this cover is. like, i've never been so tempted to draw something in my life. right now i'm just practicing watercolors...)

after the wild ride of barbie movies, adrienette finally has a different genre! (yes, i know this is still disney, but come on). they will be taking the place of two of the pevensies, so have fun seeing how that turned out! so yeah, here's our first live-action film!

Adrien had never been so excited. He'd asked Marinette which movie was next and she'd surprised him by saying he could pick something this time.

He'd spent the last twenty minutes trying to pick something good, hoping his choice would be as great as her last four picks.

And now, holding the DVD to his chest, his mind began thinking of any type of response to what Marinette would potentially think.

Didn't like the movie? Maybe experiencing it in real life would change things.

She loved the movie? Then she would be able to be a character she loved so much.

Didn't exactly remember the plot? Being in the movie would help her recall the events.

He'd never been so excited/nervous about something.

"The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe," Marinette read. "Now that's a title. Try saying that five times fast."

Adrien nervously giggled. He actually was a little guilty of attempting that.

"I don't think I've seen this one before, to be honest," she admitted.

"Wait, really?"

"Yeah. I tried reading the book, though."

Neither of them said anything for a moment. Adrien hadn't prepared for that response to his suggestion.

"Well... I have a feeling you'll like this one," he said.

"Well, I'll never know unless I try," she replied, sliding in the disc.

Sitting cross-legged as the screen began playing, she watched the dark clouds roll across. "I thought it would've been brighter. You know, for a movie about a magical world."

"Yeah, the movie actually starts around the 1940 blitz in London, I believe," Adrien explained. "I remember learning about it in history."

Marinette did too, and it honestly had nearly given her nightmares.

They watched as the screen now revealed four siblings and their mother, trying to get out of the house to escape the bombs. Adrien explained they were Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy.

"They sound English," Marinette shrugged, then realized what she'd just said. "Wait--"

Adrien began laughing out loud as Marinette saw the light circling her wrist.

Adrien felt hard concrete form underneath his feet and landed in a crowded train station.

We must've taken place of two Pevensies, he thought. But which ones.

He turned and spotted their mother adjusting the tag on Edmund's coat, Lucy next to him. Marinette was too busy checking out her surroundings to notice the change.

I'm assuming Peter and Susan, he thought, looking down to see a long trench coat covering him now.

"You'll listen to your brother, won't you, Edmund?" the Pevensies' mother asked.
