The zombie apocalypse.

awake in the hospital

Jalah feels heavy breathing near her, she slowly opens her eyes to see a bloodshot eye two inches away from hers.

"What.. the.. fuck!?" She instantly kicked the "thing off of her,she breathes heavily before crawling off her bed, trying to take a look at the thing that was on her.

The thing instantly jumps towards jalah, knocking her down. As jalah screams in fear she tries to crawl away but the thing grabs her feet, trying to bite at it.

As jalah is looking everywhere she sees a pair of scissors, she crawls desperately to get them while the thing is dragging her down.

She grabs the scissors and stabs the thing in the arm but it would not budge. She stabs the thing everywhere for a few minutes.

When she finally realized what she'd done. she got up trembling, looking at the red bloody strange, smelling, hands

She turns to face the window inside to the door to be face to face with a "thing"

She covers her mouth before a word could come out.

A few seconds later the" thing" walks away peacefully.

"So some are blind?" Jalah said to herself fanning her self with some paper on the desk.

''i gotta go out there if I don't wanna die." She grabs the scissors in her right hand while opening the door quietly with her left .

She looks to the right, then to the left,

After the coast was clear, she quickly ran silently towards the exit.

As she finally sees the exit she turns swiftly around the corner, she starts sweating.

As she takes one more peak it was 9 or 10 "things in there and she knew her alone wouldn't make a difference.

As she looked around she saw an open door.

She hesitated at first but she didn't have a choice so she went in.

She saw a bloody messy room but there was an open window.

"I could go out the window" she shut the door, then  walked towards the open window.

She looks in the window. "The distance wasn't far so I can jump down." Jalah jumped out the window, hitting the ground hard with a thud.

"Fuck!" She whispered as she moaned.

As she gets up she looks around and sees 17 "things"

"If something bad was going on, of course they would go to the hospital" she sighed looking for a way to avoid them.

Then, jalah remembers that 'thing" which was blind

"I gotta test this out." She whispered, looking for something she can throw.

In the corner of her eye she sees an bloody bookbag. She opened it to see an pocket knife and some mace.

"Good enough" she put them into her pocket. while she threw the bookbag in the opposite direction where she was at.

Almost instantly, all the "things" ran into the direction the bookbag landed.

"They're fast, okay." Jalah checks one more time to see if the coast is clear, once she sees that it was she quickly ran.

She didn't know where she was running but one thing she did know was that she had to get the hell out of the city.
