Unlikely Lovers

Alps POV
I've been trying for months I haven't even been keeping track anymore, I've been asking for days for quinn to come with me to the beach and other biomes- but alas I have been unsuccessful thus far but, I will not give this up. I will convince him to come with me one way or another!

I slithered back to his place a secret and hidden area but inside its a beautiful cave thsts spacious. Vines, Flowers and rocks all around, vegetation isn't scarce, His pile of things also there. Quinn has always been a curious, but stubborn gecko but he's still a good guy. He collects things he especially likes, or makes him happy.

Quinn was setting up some firefly lanterns that I helped get him on the vines to light up another dark area, It makes the little lush cave more enjoyable to be in then it already was

"Hey Nice touch."

"Eh. Thanks.."

"You busy next week?"

"Depends, what do you want Alp."

"Heh-" I scratch the back of my neck "I was going to a oasis for a bit, I was wondering if you wanted to come?"

Quinn finishes tying up the lantern and looks at alp "mm. I'll think about it."

"I'll take it!"

Quinn just rolls his eyes at me and lays down on some rocks stretching before sprawling out on the ground

"Nhhhmm" He stretches and sighs out in comfort "I'm tired- if you wanna crash at my place you can but I, am taking a nap."

I chuckle and sit down on a flat smooth rock curling up "How long have you been working on this place today?"

"..we don't talk about it-" Quinn smiles lighty

"Pfft- couple hours huh?"

"Shhhh I'm trying to sleep you know!"

I chuckle lighty coiling up on a flat rock, I wasn't actually tired but I need the rest for the trip, after all.. the beach is alot further the the oasis, we should get there in a couple days depending when we leave and if I get far enough with him. He won't walk all the way back home if he's far enough, he'll be pissed off once he finds out but it'll be worth it.

Before I knew it I was dozing off

The next day..

I woke up late but sooner then quinn then I looked over to see him still out cold

What time was it-?

I lift my head up and stretch

It was about time I pack for us anyway

I start to get up and I slither back out of his cave keeping it dark for quinn as I leave

After a couple hours I finally had everything ready a cool umbrella, swim suits, towels- crap- I forgot the waters and food..

After awhile of self doubt I finally got EVERYTHING- I triple checked. Now the hard part,- to get the gecko out of the desert..

I slithered all the way back to Quinn's cave coming through

"Hey Quinn! Are you still up to go to the oasis?"

Quinn was fixing himself up looking at his things toying with one

"Dunno not really convincing."

"There might be a cute gecko boyy!" I tease playfully

".. You realize I'm not fond of dating after what happened with kai."

"Yeah you can still look at them-?"

Quinn looks a bit distressed and sad now stopping playing with one of his treasures

"Do you still want me to go that badly with you? Why can't you just go with yourself." He sounds like he has slight venom in his tone not really moving his hands anymore

"Because I want to have fun with you man! Your my best friend.."

"... He sighs for a long pause Fucking fine."

"Yayyy"

"When are we going."

"Hm.. couple days-?"

Quinn is angry even I can tell he is, but at least he is going for me.. and thats enough- he really needs to get out and away from his past.
