You tell me the things you've always thought,
I tell you my opinion and we laugh.
It makes me wonder why we ever fought,
I need you in my life and here for good.
We've done some things but never got caught,
I thank the Lord for that.
This is yet another lesson life has taught,
What's meant to be will always come back.
