The CEO sat in his leather swivel chair, his head tilted up to the ceiling as he processed the news that his mother had betrayed him. He couldn't believe it. How could the person who he had looked up to, who had raised him, do something so cruel and deceitful?

With a final click of the mouse, he sent the email off to his legal team. He leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. He knew that the road ahead was going to be tough, but he was ready for it.
He opened his eyes and gazed up at the ceiling once more, the smirk still playing at the corner of his lips. It was a different kind of smirk now, one of determination and resolve. He was going to win this battle, he was going to put everyone at their place, he was going to get his omega back and he was going to do it, his way.

"What are we doing here at this hour?" His mother asked him clearly pissed after waking up in the middle of the night because of a text.

He turned around and looked at his mother again who was seething with anger.
