I want to go home
To the warm, soft bed
To the overhead trees
I just want to go home
To the fresh-baked bread
To the gently blowing breezeI want to be safe again
But that place is gone
Replaced by promises
And now I've moved onBut I haven't truly left
I have no self alive
I have nowhere to belong
No, I haven't left yet
I have nowhere to thrive
I wish I was wrongInto the dark I dash
Into the night I go
Beyond the horizon
There's got to be a home
