Damon Salvatore walked into the Mystic Grill looking for the one person he never thought he would be so desperately trying to find. It had been three days since Stefan told Kai about the bet and Kai had been ignoring Rosa's calls becoming unheard of which was causing some worry within his friend group.
Damon went out drinking with Rosa last night. He let her vent about how bad she felt and how she blamed herself for Kai's disappearance.
Rosa downed her whiskey glass in one take and sighed. Damon looked over at her. As much as he didn't care for the weasel, he has notice some slight change in Rosa. She seemed happier like the darkness surrounding her was slowly disappearing.
"He'll probably never want to speak to me again and for good reason. I betrayed his trust- which he doesn't give often," Rosa slightly slurred.
"Little red, come on. Don't go dramatic on me now. You know that job is permanently assigned to me," Damon joked as he slightly nudged her shoulder.
Rosa didn't budge as Damon shook his head. He didn't like seeing Rosa like this, so down on herself. It wasn't her fault, yet here she was blaming herself. She only agreed to the bet because they manipulated her into going along with it and she's so hopeless on helping people.
"I know you guys think he's a bad guy. That is somewhat true, his actions from the past are unforgivable. He's done things to me as well that I shouldn't forgive him for but he's also done things that made me fall for him. Besides, he has left the Parker family alone since the merge," Rosa said with all honesty.
"We can always ask Bonnie to use a locater spell to find him," Damon suggested hoping it will cheer her up in finding a solution. As much as he didn't care to find the whereabouts of Kai Parker, Damon did get slightly anxious on knowing he was out there upset.
Rosa shook her head. "No, I rather not bother Bonnie for something so trivial. She saved my brother after all. That's more then I can ever ask from her again. Kai Parker will come around eventually, I just don't know I'll still be waiting around when he does."
Damon nodded knowing what he had to do now.
Kai Parker wasn't hard to find for Damon after all, especially considering he used a crafty witch to do a locater spell on him. Rosa might have been against using Bonnie for help but he never was.
Damon took a seat on the bar stool beside Kai. "Bourbon on the rocks," Damon said to the bartender.
Kai looked over at Damon and scoffed. His irritation growing by the second from just having Damon beside him.
