(Klaudia Weismann's POV)

Hell to many people is a place of punishment and pain, but to others it is their minds which at times torture them with thoughts, be it undesirable or desirable the mind simply does it's job of working the psyche it's been built as.

But to me hell is a simple matter of my sadness of never being able to hear my brother hum Ode an die Freude ever again...

A few decades back before the quaking rise of modern technology; Me and my brother Adi were simple researchers in Dresden, we were both Physiologists who from time to time worked with the army.

One day after an expedition the sergent of our team came and handed to us a file of papers supposedly dating back to the time of world war two, it's papers that our fathers took from a japanese unit called Unit 731, they were notorious for their war crimes against humanity due to the fact they often experimented on humans.

The papers they handed to us though were quite different from what we usually heard or saw, they weren't experiments for some form of chemical weapon or drug...it was a process of breaking and rebuilding, everything there's about it hinted at that.

Destroying a person's entire mind and then rebuilding it to make them more susceptible to the other stages involving drugging and arduous training regiments.

Adi was confused just like me about this, what do they want from us by bringing us these papers but...the picture slowly became clear.

They wanted us to resume this experiment for the sake of someday making an army of super soliders capable of 'Returning our country's glory'...they said.

We at first rejected all of their offers instantly, Adi himself said he would leave the squad if they continue asking us to do these inhumane experiments.

I supported my brother and we believed ourselves to soon be fired or left alone but...we weren't, they simply decided to start throwing threats, not of death but of complete torture, me and my brother weren't weak but...we weren't certainly the strongest of the bunch.

Our hand was twisted when they decided to start firing our friends and their families from their jobs, forcing us to somewhat feel miserable about being the cause of this person's bankruptcy or that person's stay in the hospital due to a heartattack.

We succumbed to our fate and we were granted a place to start, i suppose this is where some irony began appearing...the first subject and also our last one was...japanese!.

His name was Utsuro, he had long flowing hair colored light brown and red eyes, he was a refugee who escaped here to germany on a storage ship for a reason he described as 'finding meaning in life', Adi found this reason to be quite beautiful and slowly but surely became friends with Utsuro.

"Okay okay so listen up, what if instead of using the same old military field the sergent ordered us to use we...go on a trip to BERLIN!!" Adi said as he raised his hand with a smile.

"Ehhh a trip?...i am not sure if we're allowed to do that..." i muttered as i scratched my head nervously.

"Oh come on Klaudia!, it'll be fun don't worry!"

I sighed as i glanced a look at Utsuro who as usual...was quite silent and hollow, when i asked him about this he simply said 'It's just who i am...', quite saddening but he doesn't seem to listen to me as well as he listens to Adi.

"What do you think Utsuro?, wanna go to berlin?, we can take some of the other researchers as well if you don't want it to be just us?!"

Utsuro looked at him calmly before sighing.
