She ran through the taiga snow with small feet and torn pants. Running around the corner of the house to hide from the wind, she squatted down and began to breathe deeply.
Without feeling her fingers, she pulled out a box of matches and held one of the 3 remaining matches lit by the flame under her palm.
The flame of the match scorched her skin until a tear rolled down her cheeks and the thought "Why me?"
At that moment the match went out, she opened the box and looked at the last 2 remaining matches
A smile slipped from her frozen lips

The lips were blue from the futile winter glare, the cold felt like needles on the skin.
She couldn't bear this feeling anymore. While the girl was thinking, half an hour passed, although she no longer had any sense of time, but the wind died down.
Standing up, she began to walk and look around the dark streets seeing only the shadows cast by the light
Her eyes were closed, she hadn't slept in a while. A hungry stomach prevented her from falling asleep.

Clutching the scrap she found next to the dumpster, she continued around corners trying to find a roof and walls from the wind.
