Aiden's p.o.v.

I made it to the library practically out of breath. I walked by the librarians desk as she greeted me "Good morning Aiden, How was your summer?" I stopped and let out a sigh of relief "M-morning Mrs. Todd the summer was relaxing as it could be!" She smiled and turned back to her computer.

I walked past the science fiction and romance section towards the end of the library. There was a small square table with two chairs one on each side I walked to the one closest to the wall and placed my bag and lunchbox down. I exhaled and opened my lunchbox again grabbing the sandwich that my mother made. The crust was cut off and the sandwich was cut diagonally just how I prefer them.

As I took a bit a grabbed a book from my bag and opened to the last chapter I finished. I finished the first slice of my sandwich and reached for the other when I heard the chair across from be be pulled and someone sitting down.

The room suddenly filled with the sent of vanilla. I held my head low when a high pitched voice spoke "You don't speak much do you?" with the sudden sound of bracelets hitting against one another I looked up it was a girl with long black hair she's so pretty her plum lips coating in a nude brown and shining diamond stud on her nose she noticed me staring and smiled revealing her blue braces.

"Well look who's back on earth." She seemed to have an accent. I sat awkwardly with hands in my lap "I'm not gonna hurt you.." I slowly brung my head up and nervously chewed on my bottom lip. "Im Jazmin I'm in your physics class!"

I body immediately loosened I never realized how tensed I was. I nod she smiled again I noticed the gold chains on her neck and how she popped her gum. She was so pretty even being dressed in sweats "Why are sitting here alone?". She asked Im sure she knew I was staring I blushed "I prefer to stay on m-my own" She rose a brow "Was that before or after your group of popular friends laughed you out of their table."

I stayed silent "Your lips are so full and pink what lipliner do you use?" I blushed "I don't we-wear makeup.." She giggled "Really? You look just like a girl wearing makeup."

At this moment I was sure my face was bright red. A silence filled the table I chewed on my bottom lip "They... aren't my friends..." I mumbled. She chuckled "Yeah I could tell." but stopped when she noticed me fidgeting with my fingers "Do you have any friends?" I shook my head "I-I don't have friends..." she tilted her her than popped her gum immediately she held out her hand "I'll be your friend from now on." I looked at her hand confused "Your phone?" I formed an 'O'with my mouth and fumbled in my bag looking for my phone.

I grabbed my phone with my shaky hand locking it and passed it over to her. She held my phone and was typing away moments later she held it back to me and grabbed her bag swinging it over her shoulder "I'll see you later!"

I looked down at my phone and she saved her number on my phone I stared at the Jazmin 🩷 titled on my screen when the bell suddenly rung. I placed my phone back in my bag as well as my lunchbox and hurried down to my next class Poetry.
