"Now that we're all here, I guess we can start business. First off, you're all probably wondering why they're back, yeah?" Father says while pointing towards the natural four. We all answer with nods and "mhms" as he continues.
"Well that's because they're gonna be assigned into teams with you guys." After he says that, there is a collection of "what's" and groans from almost everyone (not including myself considering I could care less), which leads to father getting angered, and let me tell you, you NEVER want to anger him. The dining hall begins to darken, and the sound of thunder is heard throughout the house. This makes everyone go quiet once again as the clouds begin to disperse.
"Now as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, I will be splitting you ALL into teams, except you Lily." He corrects right before Lily could get up and happy dance. We all smile at Lily because she's so adorable, with her little brown curls and forest green eyes. We all begin to speak, but father silences us by putting up his hand.
"I know what you're all about to ask, and I was planning on telling when I finished speaking, but I guess since you're so eager I'll tell you now. There are two teams, meaning each team has five members. In the first team, the members are Luna, Terra, the twins Olivia and Oliver, and Aaron. Luna is the leader of this team."
"Now in the second team, the members are Max, Sebastian, Seth, Michael, and Eliana. Eliana is the leader of this team."
As soon as he spoke those words, everyone sat in shock for about a minute. Even Eliana was shocked. Only people that weren't shocked were the twins and Father.
"Um, Father, you must have made a mistake. How can she be the leader over me? It's just not possible!!" Max whines out as Father begins to leave.
"You are all dismissed." Father says as he disappears towards his room. Everyone stares at where father used to be before watching an infuriated Max storm over towards Eliana. He makes fire burst into his hands as he nears her, but before he's able to attack, he falls to the ground gripping his head as if it hurts. We look over to where Eliana is standing, only to see her looking at Max with a bored expression.
"Dude, did you honestly think I would let you attack me? If so, then you DEFINITELY don't deserve to be the leader of our team. Rule number one of combat: Never use close range attacks on someone who uses long range attacks." And with that, she walks away leaving them all in shock on how she just owned him.
"Did you make them do that?" Mike asks me quietly as Sebastian, Mike and I begin to walk back to my room to play some games.
"Nope not at all. Why would I ever do such a thing?" I say innocently as they laugh, knowing that I was actually the one behind the chaos that happened.
"Hmm I don't know. Maybe because your element IS chaos." Sebastian says while laughing and flopping down onto my bed. I kick him off, hearing a groan from down on the floor.
"Shut it Sebby, don't be jealous because you can't wreak as much havoc as I can." I say smugly. After that, the conversation of the dining hall chaos dies down and the sound of the zombies dying is the only thing heard, as well as Mikey's occasional swear words when he's downed.
But there's one thing I still don't understand.
Why did Eliana fight Max like that if she wasn't affected by my chaos?
