"Princess Estella?" Jane shouts while laughing.
I let out a small giggle while hiding behind a tall wooden bookshelf.
"Where are you dear,"
I laugh a little louder and quickly move my hands to cover my mouth. All of a sudden I feel someone grab me from behind.
"Gotcha!"
I laugh and hug Jane. "Are mommy and daddy almost done?"
She crouches down to me. "No, I'm sorry sweetheart. Do you wanna go play in the garden to pass time until they are done?"
My eyes light up, "Mhm!" I start skipping out of the library and make my way towards the garden with Jane following behind.
"I'll just be here if you need anything okay?"
I nod and make my way outside. I've never been allowed outside by myself before, normally Jane or Mary are always with me. I spot some prettyflowers from the corner of my eye and run over to them. I love flowers, they are very pretty. I picked a couple of them. I wonder what kind of flowers these are... All of a sudden I hear people shouting in the distance. I wander around and try to figure out where the shouting is coming from. I turn a corner and spot people fighting with swords? I walk over to a tree and sit down against it and watch them do whatever they are doing. After a few minutes I spot a boy that looks to be around my age, I sit up and walk over to him.
"Hello!" I walk up to him.
He turns around and looks at me, "Oh, hi." He smiles at me.
I smile back. "What's your name?"
"Oh, my name is Sebastian!"
I hold my hand out, "I'm Estella!"
He laughs, "I know that already! You're the princess!" He shakes my hand.
"Oh...Right" I look down at my feet and laugh. "So Sebastian, how old are you?" I start rocking back and forth on my heels.
"I'm Six!"
I frown. "You're older than me.." I look down.
"Is that a problem? Can we still wanna be friends?"
I look up at him and smile. "You wanna be friends with me? I've never had a friend before!"
He smiles. I hand him the flower I picked and he takes it. "A peony! They are amazing flowers!" He takes it.
"That's what that kind of flower is?"
He nods, "Yep! I know a lot about flowers."
I grab his other hand and drag him over to the tree I was just at. "So, what were you doing over there?" I ask and look at him.
"Oh, well my dad is the head guard and they wanted to start my training so I can be a guard in the future and help protect the castle!" He looks over at me.
"Oh, that's kinda sad that sad that you don't get to have fun."
He shrugs his shoulders, "I kinda like it, it's fun holding a sword!" He looks down at his hands and then back at me. "What's it like being a princess?"
"Well I get treated really nicely I guess. My parents are important so that's cool, that's a perk I guess having the King and Queen being your parents."
He nods, "I can't imagine having the King and Queen as your parents, you must get so much attention!"
"Yeah I guess, I love when they spend time with me! It's like a treat when they have time!" I smile and notice Sebastian's face changes.
