It was a dark and stormy night, and the group of friends was huddled together in a small cabin in the woods. They had all come together to celebrate Friday the 13th, but little did they know, they were about to experience their worst nightmare.
As they sat around the fire, telling ghost stories and eating popcorn, they heard a strange noise outside. Toby, the bravest of the group, decided to investigate. He stepped outside and was immediately grabbed by a masked figure, who dragged him into the darkness.
The rest of the group panicked and tried to find a way out of the cabin, but the doors were locked and the windows were boarded up. Suddenly, the lights went out, and they heard the sound of a chainsaw.
Jack, James, Emma, and Leo tried to find a way to defend themselves, but they were no match for the masked figure, who seemed to be everywhere at once. They were quickly picked off one by one, until only Emily and Kaci remained.
As they hid in a closet, they heard the masked figure taunting them from outside. "You can't hide forever," it hissed. "I will find you."
Suddenly, the closet door burst open, and Emily and Kaci were face-to-face with the masked figure. They screamed and tried to fight back, but it was no use. The figure was too strong.
Just as the figure was about to deliver the final blow, they heard a loud knocking at the door. It was the police, who had been called by a neighbor who heard the commotion.
The masked figure fled into the woods, and Emily and Kaci were rescued. They were shaken and traumatized by the experience, but grateful to be alive.
As they sat in the back of the police car, Emily turned to Kaci and said, "We never should have come here. We should have listened to our instincts."
Kaci nodded in agreement. "But we survived," she said. "And that's all that matters."
From that day on, Emily and Kaci never spoke of the incident again. But they never forgot the terror they had experienced on that fateful Friday the 13th.
