A Late Night Travel

A little Butterfly

A Butterfly flew around a small garden landing on a girls finger. "Hello there little one." She said to the Butterfly. She inspected the wings of the insect gazing upon the beauty of it.  "Oh my! Father isn't this Butterfly's wings just so pretty?" She asked her father, her father replied "Why yes dear it is pretty isn't it?" He said giving a slight smile and a little chuckle "Now tell your mother to hurry now." Her father said the girl was confused and said "But why? Don't we have some more time to spend together?" The girl said trying to convince her father to stay a bit longer. Her dad sighed and said "Yes, we do have more time, but we should really be hurrying now. I mean we do have time but I think it is important to spend our time wisely" The man said standing up and closing his book. The girl gave a big sigh and thought for a minute "But-" She said being cut off from her dad "I don't want to hear it. Now go get dressed we have stuff to do and make sure to put on that new dress the maid got you." Her father said he started to head to the throne room. The girl sighed again got up from where she was sitting and headed to her room to change, a maid spotted her on her way to her room and stopped her in a hurry "Uh Miss! Just a second please!" The maid said panting from running to her "Hm what is it?" She said confused "Your mother would like to see you in the main hall, also there is a dress waiting for you on top of your dresser in your room." The maid said bowing to her "Thanks Maddlyn, your so kind to me. Tell mother I'll be there in a few minutes I have to go change first." The princess said bowing back at her. Her maid bowed back in a thanks and hurryed back to her mother and patently waited for her. The girl went to her room quickly, and shut the door. She picked up a nice long baby blue dress that sparkled. While putting the dress on she made a few grunts and groans. "Oh owww!! It's too tight!! Oh wait, I think I almost have it on! There! All better." She said but then she noticed some pretty blue glass heels, they kind of look like the shoes Cinderella wore. "Oh my, these shoes are beautiful! I wonder if they're for me...I guess I'll put them on then!" She said happily. The shoes fit perfectly on her. "It's a perfect fit!" She said excited. After getting dressed she hurried to the main hall. "Yes mother?" She asked "What is it you need?" She continued. "Well actually we're all going to head to the main hall, and I expect you to be on your best behavior! And please darling don't make these people leave and yell in fright, that last time you really spooked our guest." Her mother said she put her hand on her daughters cheek. "I just don't want them to think that we're not fit to rule, hunny so please try your best not to scare them away..." She said gazing into her daughters eyes. "Yes mother, I'll try my absolute best!" She said. "Good, now let's go." Her mom said. They both rushed to the Throne Room.
