Izuku POV

In this moment, terror didn't arise, had it been long gone. As I stepped through the portal, alone his voice boomed with a sweet venomous intent. "My child, come closer." My steps giving a clack against the concrete, taking any secrecy there could be. As I inched closer, nearly now two feet away, my posture made its way down to kneel and bow to him. My body alone telling him to go on. "Ah, good. Now then, how about we go into the importance of you being here."

As he finished, he stood from his spot, firmly touching my shoulder as a way to understand. In this, I stood slowly and followed him, his distance lessening between the tanks and himself. "As you know, we have big plans soon, have you gotten him?"

"Yes sir, and I believe that he will be useful to us in these plans. So far he seems to be very cooperative, but somewhat unstable." My attention turns to the names and quirks of the nomu that stood in front of us, a few capturing my attention. Mentally keeping note for two names, and quirks ranging from support to long distance.

"Unstable? Have you pursued some changes in this particular statement?"

"I have sir, though it seems that progress on stabilizing has been slow and possibly luring in alternative effects."

"Do whatever you can. I mean, you are my successor, you'll do whatever it takes." His sweet venom of a tone and smile appeared again. Letting me know, if I had failed this, it would be my life at his hands. Never again. And in this moment, I couldn't choke the words out, all nearly being caught in my throat. As alternative, I bowed my head showing him I understood. "Stay if you will, Doctor should be getting in new shipments soon, as for now I shall be off, child." With that, he turned and took his leave through the purple mist as if Kurogiri was here the whole time to know.

Turning, I released a breath, not having remembered to breathe in the entirety of us speaking. He hadn't been there but it was damn near terrifying regardless. But as soon as my composure came once again, a cold and cruel face took place. "This needs to work."

What felt like hours of checking amongst the old and newly arrived nomus, Kurogiri had come to take me back to the hideout. As much as he hated it, he was truly mamagiri, I mean if it weren't for him or shinso and hawks I'd never be doing anything but work.

And get nothing had changed from the moment I left. Shigi still giving me a stare while talking loudly about some complaint he has to Kurogiri. Hawks, missing, just as Shinso and his husband's had been. Dabi, arguing with Toga right before leaving. What I couldn't grasp was why Bakugo hadn't been here. Where was he?

With this I turned to the four of them, "anyone seen Kacchan?" My question made everyone go quiet, looking to each other as if they didn't know either. "Huh, well thank ya anyways. I'll see if he's on the west or south of the base." I already knew he wasn't on east, but if no one saw him in the north, a common area to see others, then it had to be west or south. West had been the training rooms, south had been the rooms. A very tactical build, which was only incorporated after many prior base raids from the heros.

As I walked through the west wing, all that was heard was silence, unlikely for anyone to be here. So my feet lured onward towards the south wing, which felt bare and quite, due to mostly everyone being out on missions for an upcoming pinpoint to complete the plan.

I ended right in front of Kacchans room, again. Lifting my hand, a light but firm knock met the door, but no noise. "Kacchan?" I called out, only to be met with silence till my door had opened. This had made me turn on my heels to find the same blond I had been searching for. "What're you doing in there?"

He looked at me somewhat bluntly, "shut up and get in here already." I followed his directions with no debate, closing the door as my arms wrapped around his neck. Stretching my mid area slightly as he was a bit taller than me. His head bowed down looking me in the eyes. But as soon as we nearly had something going, he let go and moved across the room. Weird.

"You alright?" I moved closer as he seemed distracted, touching his forearms with light graze of the fingers.

He looked down at my fingers that had now been intertwining with his, his eyebrows furrowing. "Yeah-" there was a whole different thought.

"And? What's going through your mind?" I layed my head on his shoulder, slightly nuzzling it as I knew he was a big physical touch person. He hated it most times unless you had been close in significance to him. He hadn't bothered to move, good.

"Somethings just- tsk nevermind. It's probably just something stupid." He ended with a rasp breathe, as if it were a more frustrated light sigh.

I decided to pursue, "just? It's not likely stupid if it's taking up this amount of thoughts."

With that he grabbed my face, as if to look directly at him. What was the means of this? His eyes seemed as clustered as his thoughts, he searched along my face for something. Eyes nearly scrunched, but closed with a sigh. As if he were giving up and into me.

As I lay my head back upon his shoulder, I feel him put his arms around my waist with firmness.  His voice barely coming out, "don't worry about it nerd. Just got something to think about from eyebags and dunce face."

I hummed, whether it was for him to continue or that I understood. He hadn't continued though, which was expected. And we had stood like that for a moment till he started walking away, with an almost confused pained look. "You should be careful." Giving him a confused look, he walked past me towards the door tapping the back of my neck. Huh? But how could he smell it, it's not like I don't have blockers for the scent.

But as soon as I was nearly asking him, he walked out of the room. I rushed to the door to ask him, only to see a bright yellow hair go into his room. The door closing right behind whoever had went in. I lightly walked over, pressing my ear to the door, to no avail. I could definitely tell there were four different voices, though couldn't make out any words.

With this I sighed quietly and made my way over to the common area to go out with Twice and now available Hawks. It was time to take note of more quirks whether for nomu or the League. I held out my hand, already aware Hawks has done some looking on his hero patrol. In which was the case, before he spoke jokingly, "seems like someone's in a mood." I glared, not truly having the energy but also not truly annoyed since I knew he was trying to the lift the mood. It was nice just hearing his laugh with a light and warm aura around him.
