As Dylan was swerving and swooshing through the water on her surf board she was so excited and happy about the competition,her friend Ashley was behind her doing the same thing. "WOOOOOO!!!!!"Dylan yelled as she was raised her hand in the air looking happily in the face and drops down in the water. Ashley giggled, "can't wait until the competition,so ready to be their...ughhhh I'm just so-so-so happy!!"Dylan said. "I know right i mean this thing is going to be awesome."Ashley said as she giggled sitting on her surf board chillin. "Haha just wait until next summer it's going to be a blast."Dylan said. "Yeah..."Ashley said. Dylan and Ashley was running up against the door as they walked inside and her mom was cooking some pumpkin soup. Dylan's dad came inside talking to Ashley and Dylan. "Ready for the summer competition a'ye."Robert said. "YA definitely can't wait,would be training each and every week for that thing."Dylan said as she giggled looking at her dad making orange juice. "All day,everyday Dylan."Ashley said smiling at Dylan. "Ahm...that's my girl."Robert said chuckling. "Yeah she's going to do her best."Natasha said smiling at Dylan and rubbing her hair. "Hey wanna come to my room and play the guitar?"Dylan asked. "YA sure"Ashley said. Dylan and Ashley was stomping their way upstairs to Dylan room and grab their guitars. That night dylan and Ashley had their bathingsuits on and grab their boards. "Woah woah woah woah woah...where you two girls think yall going?!"said Natasha. "Oh we're just going night surfing,I mean everybody was talking it about it last year and it's happening this year so..."Dylan said. "Can we go...please?"Dylan asked. "...no..."Natasha said. "Oh c'mon girls...why would you even ask,ya know she's going to say no."Robert said. "But mom it's a holiday"Dylan said. "Mhm."Natasha moan as she nods her head. Dylan looked at Ashley and Ashley looked at Dylan and was running up stairs so fast,all Ashley had to hear was a honk and remind Dylan to let's go,they both went out the window and on to the jeep. Ashley and Dylan was surfing on the waves with some Fourth of July decoration around them,as they were finished surfing,Dylan and Ashley was talking. "Haha yeah that was ridiculous...-"Dylan said as she saw this cute boy walking on the beach with his board. "Who's that?"Dylan asked. "Oh that's jonathan,girls like him ...very much,but he had a girlfriend but he broke up with her because the girlfriend was cheating on him for another dude."Ashley said. "Oh..."Dylan responded. Dylan was paddling on her board on her way to the shore to talk to him, but by the time Dylan was almost their he hop in his friend jeep and drives off. "Hmm..."Dylan moaned quietly. The next day was a beautiful sunn shined day,as Dylan and Ashley was sleeping in the same bed,Dylan was on the left and Ashley was on the right. Dylan eyes was shut closed until the sun woke her up. "*sigh* mmm"Dylan huff and moaned as the sun shined was in her eyes. She rubbed her eyes and sat up straight on her bed and looked up at the window and could hear. Seagulls screaming as the water brush up on the shore. Ashley and Dylan was slowly walking downstairs like zombies. "Well good morning miss hardhead."Natasha said. "You know...?"Dylan asked. "Yea,saw ya two running to some jeep with Michael and Rachel."Natasha said. "*sigh*" Dylan huffed. "well at least you need something before training."Natasha said. "Ya...right outside too"Natasha said as she looked at Ashley and Dylan and pointed to window and saw Robert out their and looked towards the window and waved. Ashley and Dylan huffed and was picking through their food but they ate it anyways. As Dylan and Ashley was walking up beside Michael and Rachael,the wind was blowing there hair roughly. "Ok for the week we will be having a little mini talented surfing which means that we will be surfing but in a talented way."Robert said loud and clear. "Dylan,Ashley,Michael,Rachael all looked onwards rober t and back to the ocean waves. "Okay...now... My way is for you guys to surf almost like one at a time but together,if you know what I mean...which means you should know what I mean."Robert said. "...GO!!"Robert said loudly. The teens ran up to the ocean and flop their way onto the board and started to paddle,they were behind each other but side on side. Dylan was the leader so Ashley,Michael,Rachael followed her,they was on track and did it perfectly. "Good job,that's was just training but here is the real deal."Robert said she as he points his way onto the big waves. "I think we can take em."Dylan saids. "Good...you should...go!!"Robert saids. "Dylan,Ashley,Michael,Rachael was surfing together but not behind or side by side. Rachael and Ashley kept messing up but didn't give up,Dylan and Michael kept going perfectly. Michael was in front of Dylan so Dylan went underwater and cut in front Michael onto the wave. "YEAH...WOOOHOOO...THATS HOW WE DO IT...!!!!!"Robert yells as he saw what Dylan did. Dylan chuckled. "Great job honey."Robert saids. "Thanks dad."Dylan said. "Now we're going to do original surfing with different kind of boards."Robert saids. "What you mean by different?"Michael asked. "Great question,I mean by different sizes kinds of surf boards." Michael grabbed the smallest surf board and went first,he passed. Racheal went second and passed,Ashley went third and passed,Dylan went fourth and messed up. Ashley,Michael and Rachael went ahead home but Robert stopped Dylan. "Where you think you're going?!"Robert said. "...I'm going home of course."Dylan said. "No your not..."Robert said. "Yes I am."Dylan said. "No your not,I saw you out their,you messed up and you're going to do it again until you get it right miss missy!"Robert said. "Dad just because I messed up...it's almost sunset...I'll do it again tommorro morning"Dylan said. "No your not Dylan!...get back here!!"Robert said. "Your not leaving until you get it right ok the competition is in one more month and I can't let you looking like foolish girl who can't get onto the tidal wave right,and why I am saying this is because hundreds of surfers got drowned from this tidal wave and sometimes be killed..."Robert said. "...how can they be killed?"Dylan said. "The drowning part...if they drown underwater from trying to make that perfect surf on that tidal wave,they can't hold their breath forever down their forever,that's how they can be killed."Robert said. "Now that I talked to you for now,get your butt on that board and surf...like I said ...until you get it right"robert said. Dylan looked at her dad with an frustrated face and went back on board onto the ocean. Dylan was angry,frustrated and tired of surfing from that tidal wave,she's been surfing from nighttime to morning,she didn't even went to sleep. "Robert honey...let her sleep dear I mean she's going to get it right one day..."Natasha said. "Honey there's no sleeping there's no one day...if she's keep messing up on this wave she will lose points off from it."Robert said. "Honey let her rest,she needs it to focus more on the wave that means she will get it right unless she needs to rest and get a break from surfing."Natasha said. "No...no...can't let that happen."Robert said with his hand on his chin watching Dylan messing up. "Honey she's been up all night,let her get her rest and that's well of her to focus more and concentrate of the wave...*sigh* i-i-i give up,I'm trying so har-...this is how she wouldn't be able to win the 5th summer surf competition robert."Natasha said walking off. As Dylan was on her board having a hard time she kept trying 6 times but on the 6th try,she start to paddle,went under water,saw a big wave in front and got splashed and tried it again and surf on the tidal wave but started to wiggle on the board and falled into the water and her board breaken. Dylan was so mad and frustrated that she gaved up. "Where you going?!"Robert said asked. "HOME!!!"Dylan yelled as she was walking with a towel. "No your not,GET YOUR BUTT BACK HERE DYLAN DONT TURN YOUR BACK ON ME!!!!!"Robert yelled. "NO!!!,IM TIRED OF DOING WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO...letting me do one hundred times of surfing JUST BECAUSE I FREAKING SCREWED UP!!!!! IM DONE WITH THAT THING ...I'm going home."Dylan said as she was arguing with her dad. Robert was looking at Dylan looking stupid in the face as she walked off. "Honey what's-"Natasha said as she got cut off by seeing her daughter mad. Natasha seen Robert and looked at him then shook her head and walked behind Dylan. "Honey honey it's going to be okay,it's going to be okay,everyone have there bad days okay, ohhh don't worry honey,when that competition comes your going to murder it okay honey."Natasha said as she was sitting beside Dylan on her bed. Dylan ignored her mom and was just laying on her bed looking sad. "Hm mph I remember when I was a little girl I had this big final test I had to take,I failed it five times...I cried and gaved up on it until my mom gaved me that talk to and now that she passed away,I can share my talks with you Dylan...but I studyed studyed and studyed until I passed it with an A+,honey people is going to struggle with things they never had before but if they get plenty of rest and focus and concentrate they will get it right,but before you know it ...your going to nail it..I promise sweetheart."Natasha said as she was hugging Dylan. "Hey sugar,ready for that competition of yours?!"Pamela said cleaning smoothie cups watching people surfing outside the window. "Ya until I get that tidal wave under control."Dylan said. "First time surfing on it."Natasha said. "Ohhhhh I get what your saying...first time you done something you struggle with it but before you know it you got it !"Pamela said. Dylan turned around and watch people surfing,when she got home she went upstairs to her room and falled asleep. The Nextel day she woke up super early around 5 or 6 and grabbed her board and started to paddle,her parents were watching her. "What's she's doing?"Robert asked. "She's surfing on the tidal wave..."Natasha said looking surprised. "Wow..."Robert whispered looking as much surprised then Natasha. Dylan cooled off and went underwater after that wave then got up on her board and was surfing right away. Natasha eyes stretched and covered her mouth in happiness. "YEA...YEA WOOOOOOOO,WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"Robert yelled as he was running outside. Robert picked up Dylan and twirled her in the air. Natasha came outside and hug Dylan too. "I told you you will get it before you know it."Natasha said. "How do you know?"Robert asked. "Because everyone has that count they been waiting for..."Natasha said smiling as she rubbed her head. "Doesn't matter...what really matters is that my daughter got it!!"Robert said in excitement. {that competition day}: everyone was relaxing and watching teens and adults getting ready for the competition. "K honey do your best!"Robert said rubbing her head. "Good luck sweety!"Natasha said. Dylan,Ashley,Michael,Rachael was getting ready for the talented surfing. "K guys remember your training!"Robert said looking serious. "WELCOME TO THE FIFTH ANNUAL SUMMER SURFING COMPETITION!!!TODAYS GUESS WE HAVE SALLY SIMONS, JAZZY JOHNSON, MICHAEL FEGAN, RACHAEL SIMONS, ASHLEY COOPER, AND DYLAN FILLMORE AND FOR RIGHT NOW THEY'RE ABOUT TO DO THE TALENTED SURFING TODAY UNTIL WE GET ONTO THE REAL DEAL OF SURFING OK GUYS!!!"said the announcer as everyone cheered. "IM YOUR HOST JOHN FILLBERG TODAY AND WE GOING TO BE DOING SOME SERIOUS SURFING AM I RIGHT?!!!!!!"said the announcer as everyone cheered. "OK LETS GET THIS THING GOING!!!!!!"said the announcer as everyone cheered. Much people was doing their talented surfing and then Dylan's gang came along. "NOW TIME FOR THE REAL DEAL OF SURFING ...ROUND ONE IS THE ORIGINAL SURFING WITH BIG WAVES AND ROUND TWO IS THE MONSTEROUS TIDAL WAVE!!"the announcer said as everyone cheered. "LET GO!!!"THE ANNOUNCER SAID AS EVERYONE GOT LOUDER. Michael, Rachael,Ashley and Dylan made through the original waves and passed. "LETS GIVE IT UP FOR THE CONTESTANTS!!!!"said the announcer. "NOW ITS TIME FOR THE TIDAL WAVE EVERYONE...THIS IS WHAT YOU BEEN WAITING FOR...LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!"said the announcer as everyone cheered even louder. "BUT FOR RIGHT NOW WE WILL HAVE A LITTLE BREAK TIME OK PEOPLE OKAY!!"said the announcer. "You did great out there honey !!"Natasha said. "Keep it up honey!!"Robert said. "Good luck Dylan!!"Ashley said. "Good job Dyl.."Rachael said. "Break a leg."Michael said. As they all went to they're parents. Dylan was scrubbing her board off until another girl with blond hair came to her." Better be careful on that tidal wave or you will drown and die like the rest of those freaks out their...ya just like your dad said people get caught at those waves and drown until they can't hold their breath anymore until they die haha sure hope YOU won't do the same freaking thing."the blond girl said. "Hmmph whatever..."Dylan whispered. "OK NOW ITS TIME FOR THE TIDAL WAVES!!!"the announcer said as everyone cheered. "LETS GO!!!!!"the announcer said as everyone cheered. Dylan was paddling as fast as she could until that blond girl cut in front of and steal her wave until another wave come and splash Dylan. "No no!!"Robert said.,Natasha huffed and covered her face. "Ok ok I could do this I could do this."Dylan said. "The blond girl and Dylan was paddle racing u too Dylan went underwater and came back up and splashed some water on that blond girl and as the blond girl turned her head from Dylan splash that water on her a wave splash on the blond girl and broken her surf board. "OHHHH THATS LOOKS LIKE IT HURTS...ALOT."the announcer as everyone laughed. As Dylan was waiting for another wave she saw one ahead and the wave got gigantic and massive and Dylan was surfing on it. "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES YES YES WOOHOO"Robert yelled in happiness. Natasha burst into tears because she knew Dylan would do it. As the water covered Dylan,she glazed her hand onto the water and when she got out the wave she was so happy. "DYLAN FILLMORE HAS REACHED THE TOP LIMIT WAVE!!!!!"said the announcer as everyone cheered and clapped. When the host called everyone up on the staged,Natasha and Robert and Dylan's friends was nervous. "And the winner for the 5th annual summer surf competition is...DYLAN FILLMORE!!!!!"said the host as everyone cheered and clapped. Dylan got her medal and trophy,some random dude in the back crowd yelled out("SPEECH"). "Before all of this...I was training and having a hard time with this and gaved up but now that I thought to myself I figured I can't give up...I have to get up and keep trying and do my best...and when I did my best I got this."Dylan says as she showed her medal and trophy. "And I supposed when you grow up,you will get this too for all my fans and love ones...thank you"Dylan said as she got down stage everyone was cheering,clapping,cheering her name and pick her up by the shoulders. The next day Dylan friends and her family were surfing together in happiness on a sunny and bright day.
