It's hard, you know. Living without Percy for a good nine months.

I mean, I IM him every single day, and I'm not being ungrateful, ( At least it's better than having him disappear ) but after all we've been through, I can't stand not being with him.

There was a pounding on the door, and on the other side, Leo stood in a navy blue sweatshirt and jeans and said, "Chiron wants to meets us in the big house. Frank and Hazel are here, too. Let's go so I can get back to bed once it's over."

"Next time Leo, please don't try to break down the door just to get my attention. We just got a new one!" I said walking out of my cabin and towards the Big House.

"Hazel! Frank! It's been a while." I greeted, giving Hazel a tight squeeze and shaking Frank's hand.

" It's good to see you again Annabeth." Frank replied, and Hazel nodded.

We all took our seats around the Ping Pong table. ( the one thing that didn't get destroyed in the war ) Frank sat to Hazel's left, Leo on her right, Jason and then Piper, and finally me.

I, being the one Chiron has known longest out of the six, got to sit right next to him.

Lucky me.

Chiron's voice is so loud, I think I'm going to go deaf.

" I suppose you're wondering why I've called you here." Chiron's voice boomed across the room

" The gods have decided to reward you all for defeating Gaea, and let you live your lives somewhat peacefully."

Leo smirked, "I love how you emphasize the word 'somewhat' "

Chiron went on " The gods have decided to let you go to high school, get educated, and maybe get mortal jobs. Even better, you will be attending Goode, the school Percy goes to."

"Oh come on!" Leo complained "Does this mean I have to go to school? Do homework? This isn't a reward. It's torture."

"It won't be that bad." Hazel said "We can meet Percy and his friends."

I could hardly wait. "When do we leave?"

" In around an hour. Argus will take you all to your new home."

" What are we waiting for, then? Let's go get ready!" I cried, bouncing with joy.

" Of course the brainiac wants to go to school. It's her specialty." Jason muttered as he trudged off to his cabin.

I just stuck my tongue out at him.

" Thanks Chiron! " I said, and then ran off to my cabin.

Okay, so I don't really think I need to pack much, maybe just my favorite books, and I have a lot of them, a toothbrush, and......................... Gods I have no idea. Being a child of Athena, this annoyed me very much. Aphrodite will have obviously enchanted out wardrobes in our new house, so I don't need to worry about clothes. I guess that's it, then. I hugged all my siblings goodbye, leaving Malcolm in charge, and headed out the door with a tote bag slung over my shoulder.

On the way to Argus's van, I pulled my hair up into a ponytail. My neck gets really sweaty when I leave my hair down on a hot day, and I know Percy prefers when I stick to my comfort zone. I CANT BELIEVE IM GOING TO SCHOOL WITH MY FAVORITE PERSON IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!

And no, I'm not overreacting. There is no such thing!

" Climb in, guys!" Jason called from the back, and once we were all in, Argus grunted and hit the pedal.

"So Piper, I was thinking, I want to see what Percy does at school without us, so I'm going to put on a disguise, like a wig and contacts, and become friends with Percy as the new girl. Can you all avoid being seen by Percy for, like, a day or two?" I said, as my ingenious plans unfolded.

" That's a great idea Annabeth!" Hazel exclaimed, giving her a high five.

" We could totally spy on him and then ambush water boy when he least expects it." Leo said, making a ninja voice.

And then we arrived at our humble home.

Well, more of a palace than home, if you think about its size.
