The Book Of Flowers

Chapter 6

I spend the rest of the day with Sebastian, we hang out in the garden for the most part. He plays with Tink while I make flower crowns. Sebastian suggested that we make her clothes but that plan falls through since neither of us know how to sew. Mary and Jane walk past while we are in the garden.

"Mary! Jane!" I run over to them.

They both turn around. "Yes Dear?" Mary asks.

I pull the flowers I got from Sebastian's mom. "I got these for you both!" I hand Jane and Mary each a bouquet.

"Thank you dear! They look amazing." Jane puts them up to her nose and smells them. They turn around and walk away, I walk back over to Sebastian and sit back down and just continue to hang out.

"Your lesson is tomorrow?" Sebastian asks me.

I look up at him and nod, "I don't know which lesson she will start with though."

The day ends and I say goodbye to Sebastian. I get changed and head to bed. I look over at the flowers. I wonder what they will be tomorrow.. I close my eyes, and when I open them up again the flowers are now orchids. I love orchids. They are so beautiful. I get up and put on a semi-nice dress for my lessons today. I do my hair and tie it in low pigtails. I walk out of my room and Sebatian is already waiting for me.

"Good morning Estella!" He says while looking at me.

I smile, "Good morning Sebastian." I look at the clock on the wall. 7:30 "I have to go to breakfast. I haven't gone in a while."

We start making our way to the dining hall and when we get there Sebastian stays outside the doors while I head in. Both my parents are already looking at me while I enter.

"Good morning" I say while walking to my chair.

"Good morning Estella." Mother says while looking at me. The food gets served and Father doesn't say a single word throughout the whole meal.

"I'll be heading to my lessons now." I leave my seat and walk out the doors.

Sebastian stands up and smiles, "Ready to go?"

I nod and we start walking to my lessons. When we arrive we are greeted by a ballroom dress and suit hanging up.

"Today will be the dance lessons!" Eleanor says. "Estella can you change into the dress?"

She hands me the dress and I walk over to the bathroom. When I come back I see Sebastian in the suit and I walk over to him and look over at Eleanor.

"Okay, both of you stand in the middle of the room."

We both move to where she directed.

"Okay, now you both bow to each other."

We do as she says and we make eye contact with each other.

She walks over to us, "Okay, Sebastian take Estella's hand in yours and put your other hand on her back."

Sebastian nods and does exactly that.

"Now Estella put your hand on his shoulder."

I move my hand to rest on his shoulder.

"Sebastian take a step forward and Estella just follow what he does."

We do that for a little bit so we get used to dancing together.

"I want you both to start stepping sideways."

We put the steps together and work on them for a few minutes.

"Now we want to work on spinning. Sebastian remove your hand from her back and spin her."
