I feel as the cold wind slides across my neck sending a chill down my spine causing little bumps to appear on my arm. I walk to my window and close it shut. Returning back to my spot on the couch, I shuffle through a pile of papers I've found in my desk drawer. After an hour of bills upon bills I came across this letter from 1985. I turn it over to see that it is still sealed shut. My face puzzles a confused look then I open it up carefully to see a letter and a dead rose..

I take out the letter to read a beautifully hand written piece of work. It was truly a masterpiece. I slide it back in the envelope and place it in my purse then head out of my apartment for a little walk around town.

I walk downtown to this old post office that was barley visited. It was like it was abandoned. I walk inside to see and elderly man half-asleep at the third window. I walk over to the stamp despencer and withdraw five stamps. I grab them then head out.

I walk ouside to see a strapping young man wearing a light blue flannel with what appeared to be.. suspenders? Along with some nike shoes. I walk past him wondering who he was and why would he be here?

I return home with mystamps and still the old letter in my purse. I get out a piece of paper and start writing.

Dear Ross,

I have read your letter and it was splended! Every word and detail was beautiful and very well written. I was trying to figure out what you meant though when you said, "only some die ugly and some live beautiful." It puzzled me for a bit but I assure you, I will figure it out!

I put the letter in an envelope, put a stamp on the top right corner, lick it shut, and set it on my dresser for tomorrow's drop-off.
